Each camping site is by the river, prime position for fishing, canoeing, and swimming. Based on availability, you are welcome to choose your spot on arrival. All options are grassed and level.
You will have access to pit toilets (3) otherwise, please BYO facilities. Small campfires are welcome in the fire pits provided, or BYO firepit (permitting there are no restrictions in place at the time). Firewood can be purchased at the time of booking.
We’re pet-friendly! Please note, however, that we are a working farm with ongoing activities and resident animals, including livestock and farm dogs, so all pets must be kept under control at all times. Aggressive, disruptive, or potentially dangerous dogs of any type are not allowed — especially restricted breeds (e.g. Pit Bulls, Bull Mastiffs). Only friendly dogs are permitted, and we reserve the right to ask you to leave if your dog is deemed unsafe or aggressive upon arrival. If you have any doubts, please message us prior to booking.
Also, please ensure kids are supervised at all times, particularly around the river. Lifejackets are recommended.
During your time here, visit the local farm gates in Tumut, Batlow, Tumbarumba, and Adelong for their delicious high-country produce. There are also some beautiful swimming spots and walks to discover in the region, as well as good facilities in town, including the local swimming pool and shopping centre. Enjoy a local brew and bite to eat at the Tumut brewery. Bahwidgee is just 3km from the Tumut town centre - so close you could ride in, or even walk.

We are located a short 13km drive off the Hume Highway and only 45 minutes from Wagga Wagga the largest inland city in NSW. Not only is Gundagai the gateway to the Riverina but the Snowy Mountains Alpine area is within a day trip from here too, making it a great central location.
We are sheep graziers, and in season, visitors can observe the newborn lambs or freshly shorn sheep.

Always be cautious of lighting a camp fire not to close to fuel and or your vehicles or tent, the wind may change through the night.
- We will have an ENVIRO TANK installed mid year for a drop point sewer
- We only have 6 dams on the property with plenty of YABBIES if you grab some yabbies please throw in some pieces of meat and or frozen veggies to help them grow for the next time you visit.
- There are a lot of Native wallabies on our property and many hares with in the bush land

Camp on the Murrumbidgee River with 300m of total river frontage, giving you plenty of room to spread out among the River Red Gums. Flat campsites provide easy access, with a gentle slope down to the water. Maximum 10 campers. The 15-acre camping area is part of a mixed-farming property (1,500 acres) and has easy access for campervans.
The site is 8–10 minutes from Gundagai. A canoer’s paradise! Put your canoe in a few kilometres upstream and finish at the campsite, or simply enjoy the solitude around the fire.
A scenic drive following the Murrumbidgee and Tumut Rivers can be taken as an alternative route to Tumut or Gundagai. The site can be used as a base camp for fishing, wineries, bushwalking, and ski fields.
There is free firewood for campfires.
Friendly, well-controlled pets are welcome, as long as they don’t disturb other campers. Please be mindful that cattle and sheep may be grazing nearby.
Children must be supervised at all times, as the river can be fast-moving and become deep quickly. There may also be snakes in the area from time to time.
Murrumbidgee water should be boiled, or please bring your own. There are no toilets at the site, and all rubbish should be taken with you.
The property owner lives nearby and is available if assistance is needed.

A lot of amazing native landscapes and some open areas. Great for trail riding, bush walking or mountain bike as there are gentle slopes through the bush.
Grass trees are plentiful in the rear of the property and there are two eagles that live near the back of the block also.
You do have to drive through inglebah reserve to get to the property which is hidden away .

FIRE RESTRICTIONS
Please adhere to the local fire ban dates and do not start fires near grass areas when wind is increased. Also we have a nice big dirt area area the camp ground so get the kiddies to round up a few rocks to create a fire pit and there is an abundance of fire wood.
Always be cautious of lighting a camp fire not to close to fuel and or your vehicles or tent, the wind may change through the night.
- We will have an ENVIRO TANK installed mid year for a drop point sewer
- We only have 6 dams on the property with plenty of YABBIES if you grab some yabbies please throw in some pieces of meat and or frozen veggies to help them grow for the next time you visit.
- There are a lot of Native wallabies on our property and many hares with in the bush land

- YOU MAY HAVE FIRE ARMS WITH YOU IF YOU ARE LICENCED AND PASSING THROUGH !! BUT UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE IS THERE ANY SHOOTING ON THE PROPERTY AS THERE MAY BE MORE THEN 1 GROUP ON THE PROPERTY.
- PICK UP ALL YOUR RUBBISH WHEN YOU LEAVE AND PUT IT IN BINS PROVIDED IN TOWN (5 MINS AWAY) there are piles of old rubbish in farm that we are cleaning up on a monthly basis which was left there from previous owners. Please treat the farm like it is your home.

We had a great one night stay at Leah's beautiful farm. The check in was super smooth and the facilities are excellent. We were even invited to (and did in fact) have a swim in the pool. Our campsite was surrounded by lots of native birdlife including wrens and red rumped parrots which was so lovely in the morning. Highly recommend a stay here!

this is one of the best hi-camp we've ever been in.
Leah is such a wonderful host, keen to share with us what she does, with her garden, chicks (160 chicks !!) - we could cook a great omelet with fresh eggs ! fruit trees of various types... etc, This is a small bit of paradise. The view is gorgeous, it is quiet, you have access to shower/toilets inside her house.
We highly recommend and would certainly come back if we are around !

An amazing Hipcamp in a beautiful part of Wagga Wagga.
Leah was incredibly accommodating, not just to us but to all her guests, going out of her way to ensure everyone had a great stay.
The highlights were the stunning sunsets and sunrises, absolutely beautiful against the rural backdrop.
And Coco, the farm’s “guardian” dog, deserves a special mention — she played so well with our pups.
We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic view of Wagga City at night. Easy access to the property with a short (about 2kms) dirt road and driveway. All four sites require some juggling with levelling. You will need your ramps! Best feature - Very, very private!

Excellent Little stop! Highly recommend and will be back for longer next time! Great spots to camp and beautiful location. The stars at night were amazing. We did a little fishing in the river and there was lots of local wildlife. We also arrived on a very hot day and there was still plenty of shade.
