Overall, a pretty good little camping space. Considering it was a major heatwave and there were fires happening only a few kilometres away, I wasn't surprised when I was the only tent around on site! I had a nice little corner to myself, with more than enough room for my little one person tent and space to park my car.
The toilets and showers were good! Fairly clean and well kept. I didn’t use the sink, BBQ and other kitchen-like facilities as I was catching up with friends in town for meals, however this space was looking a little dank with unwashed dishes and bins smelling a bit yikes. But also, major heatwave, everything smells worse.
The guy at reception was friendly and helpful, explaining where amenities were located and where my site was located.
I will say, perhaps I didn't read the description properly, as I was sort of booking in a bit of a hurry, but I didn't quite realise that there are what appeared to be long-term residents living at the caravan park. I was a bit confused when I first arrived and although I realised soon enough, I felt a bit self conscious, like I was in another person's home. But it was totally fine. I think I only saw a couple of people who live there, because it was so hot! And it was nice and quiet when I was heading off to sleep, so no complaints there.
