The popular beaches of Blueys Beach and Boomerang Beach are just down the road, as is Wallis Lake - so bring your boat! We're also just a 30-minute drive from Foster. The bell tent can sleep up to 4 guests - including two adults in the queen bed, and there are two camp stretchers ideal for 2 small children (12 years or below). We also offer the option for up to 2 additional guests in the same group to camp around the tent for an additional cost - see further details in the site description. The property provides plenty of wildlife, including kangaroos and wallabies, and lots of bird life too. We also have an old horse on site, that loves biscuits and carrots! Options for a meal in the area too - The local Aquatic Club is open for takeaway on Wednesday, and dining in Saturday lunch and dinner. Progress does Sunday brunch at the local hall.

(Note : 5kms of sealed road and 2kms of unsealed gravel road from town - suitable for all vehicles.) The van is decorated to reflect the retro 70s style. Inside it features a ‘cosy’ double bed, with linen provided; a lounge area; plus a small galley kitchen, that includes a toaster, kettle, bar fridge, microwave and a 2 burner electric stove top. There are also added extras such as a selection of teas, coffee with plunger, milk and local free range eggs. Loads of walking tracks nearby; the Legendary Ellenborough Falls is 5 mins by car or half hour walk through the Elands Village Hour and half from Port Macquarie and Forster and one hour from Taree in the hinterland from Wingham or Comboyne (coming from Port Macquarie). There is an endless network of gravel roads and fire trails waiting to be explored by vehicle or mountain bike, taking you through the national parks, state forests and undulating farmlands of the Bulga Plateau. This delightful self contained cabin is a perfect getaway for you to work on your project – be it visual art; a book; a film script; photography or simply forest breathing to clear the mind. 600 metres above sea level on clear nights it feels like you are close enough to touch the Milky Way!
