One of the highlights of this retreat is the outdoor experience. Beyond the glamping pod, you’ll find a private campfire area, with outdoor cooking setup including a cast-iron cooking kit, A fire pit with a grill plus crockery etc. A rustic seating area, inviting you to relax and soak in the incredible views while enjoying a meal in the great outdoors.
We believe in providing a comfortable stay while maintaining a sustainable footprint. Your stay includes access to: A private outhouse with a hot shower, allowing you to refresh after a day of exploring. A composting toilet, designed to be odor-free and environmentally friendly. A washing-up area, so you can clean up easily after meals.

Located 25 minutes from the beautiful village of Taralga, ours is a spot to unwind.
With a large campsite, you can fit several large tents.
Please note: the ground is quite rocky and hard, so a mattress is highly recommended. And for tent pegs, we recommend steel nail stakes or screw in pegs (auger style). The campsite is on the ridge, so please keep in mind the wind.
When permitted, there’s a great campfire set up with a grill ready to go. Please bring a back up gas cooker in case of fire ban.
There are no toilet facilities or fresh water, so you will need to come prepared.
Access is via a steep dirt road.
At night, the skies are majestic, and the sunrise and sunsets are spectacular.
Lots of wildlife including kangaroos, wombats, wallabies, owls, eagles, hawks, goats, deer, and the occasional reptile!
Taralga is home to the Argyle Inn, pub, general store and more. The famous Laggan Pub is 25 minutes and Crookwell just a bit past that.

Weekend Trip to Glamping Around An Ancient Tree
We absolutely loved staying here, it was so quiet and peaceful, we saw so much wildlife (birds, kangaroos and wombats!) right outside the door. The dome itself is beautiful - a perfect step up from camping, we still felt like we were immersed in nature but had the luxuries of a comfy bed and a private bathroom. Would highly recommend!

We were amazed at the design of Bowery Dome it sits on high deck with nice view,inside dome with comfy bed and spacious room,its very comfortable for family with young kids.
At night kids roasted marshmallows and watched the beautiful of starry sky…

This camp site was honestly the nicest one I’ve ever been to. The views were incredible. The drive there is also wonderful - it was the perfect weekend away. The property is well kept and the sheep on the property are nice and friendly (I was greeted by a lot of them by the gate, it was lovely). Sunrise and sunset were magical. I’ll definitely be coming back here.

Easy access, all level had 22ft caravan in there with Plenty of space. Slight road noise from Hume hwy. you can find firewood in nearby bushes, chickens for kids to see. A little pricey but would stay again.

Yes you can hear the highway traffic all hours but it’s not significant enough to worry you.
Lovely hosts.
The only negative is the lack of signage.
I think the sites should be numbered or named and allocated.
The pathways through the bush to the river should also be sign posted, not easy to navigate, i can see visitors getting lost .
Would I come back? Definitely

What a great spot to take it easy, Dana was the best with a great welcome. What a wonderful place to camp. Walk to the River it does takes a little effort to get down there but worth it, and not far from Berrima to walk around the town and have lunch at the pub.
Lots of fire wood you just have to look for it.
Thanks again, we stayed 9 nights lots of star to see while sitting around a fire.
We will be back as not for from Sydney.
