At Big Bell Farm, we understand that you want a holiday where you can relax, unwind, and enjoy the views. Nestled in amongst farmland and national parks, Big Bell Farm can deliver.  We are a family and pet friendly farm stay, offering camping and cabin accommodation. There’s plenty of activities for the kids, with bikes available, pool access, and many farm animals to play with (including miniature goats!). You can walk your dog along the creek, or discover breathtaking views on one of the many surrounding walking tracks. As the day comes to an end, you may find yourself enjoying a family barbeque dinner, all surrounding a beautiful campfire, while taking in the stars above in the night sky. At Big Bell Farm, we pride ourselves on being a carbon-neutral place. We consume as little energy as possible, and offset any remaining carbon emissions by planting more trees around the farm.  Accessibility is no issue for us, as we also provide wheelchair access with some of our cabins. The property is located just 5 minutes from the town of Kangaroo Valley. Two hours’ drive from Sydney or Canberra. If food is your thing, take a chef led class, enjoy the freshest of local produce . In the village, fill up on lovingly made yummies at one of the many cafes. Explore pioneer history at the museum or browse the shops for treats or gifts.Park your camper next to the creek. This camp is a 3 min walk from the main house and you will have complete privacy.  At Big Bell Farm, we understand that you want a holiday where you can relax, unwind, and enjoy the views. You can enter the property from Kangaroo Valley Road, just open and close the gate again. As we are not providing anything please come fully equipped. Big Bell Farm Camp
Our stay at Big bell farm was great! Our host Yvonne was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. The kids absolutely loved the creek aswell!

The piece of land was super simple. The views were amazing of the mountains and the morning parade of kangaroos was enchanting and brought smiles to our faces . The flys did drive us nuts whether that was due to being so close to the creek or the herd of cows I don’t know but even with cintronella and deet it was hard to be outside for long. Good for a night in a camper but not more.

Lovely site next to a bubbling river let with frogs and resident wombat. Very responsive and kind hosts. Lovely spot for a camper and tent

Big Bell Farm Camp
When we booked this site we thought $95 was expensive for a site with zero amenities. However, we needed to be within half an hours drive of a wedding venue and this was all that was available considering we booked late. Positives: the site is close to Kangaroo Valley, just a very short drive. It’s quite a pretty site with a large tree and a creek running through it. The sound of the water flowing at night is pleasant. The hosts were friendly, communicative, and amenable. Negatives: the site is right on the road, privacy is non existant. The first image in the listing is quite misleading because it looks like you’ll be in a large field, but actually it’s just a triangle of grass next to the road. Even the pictures of the actual site crop the road out. It’s so close that even though we put our shower tent as far from the road as possible, when my partner stepped out of it with a towel wrapped around him, cars were honking… There is no mention on the listing that the area is surrounded by an electric fence. Whilst there is a sign, because it was high on the tree (and the listing says you can walk your dog along the creek), it didn’t occur to me that it also ran low along the side of the creek. Our dog got shocked which was quite traumatic, and I would have been way more vigilant if I’d known. With the negatives in mind, and given the lack of amenities, the $95 a night price point seems ridiculous; $30 is more realistic. Do not recommend for those with dogs or children.
