Various birds, wombats and wallabies are common around our farm and we're located very close to Carrington Falls (Budderoo National Park), the Illawarra Fly Tree Top Walk

100 acres of secluded paradise with a kilometer of free flowing pebbled creek. Bound on two sides by the craggy escarpments of the Budgong and Morton National Parks there is ample grassland to give a feeling of space yet an abundance of trees to wander through as you engage with the tame wildlife and magnificent birdlife.
Bring your mountain bike, fishing rod, swimmers, hiking boots, tennis racket, basketball (a hoop on the tennis court) or climbing gear and leave the kids in the play area while you sit by the creek and listen to the water tumbling through the rocks.
If you are as intrigued by rare animals as we are, then this is the place for you. 63 Bird species, 24 mammals, 16 reptiles, and 12 amphibians have been sighted in the area (Clarke 2012) and this includes many rare and endangered species including the platypus, brush-tailed rock wallaby, Giant burrowing frog, Gang-gang cockatoo, Glossy black-cockatoo, Koala, Little Lorikeet and the Yellow-bellied glider.
We only have three campsites at present, so you will be guaranteed peace, space and privacy. with a minimum of 400m between all sites. Please note, that your group must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, however fresh drinking water is available.
Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong and Dad's camp sites but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend site is only suitable for 4x4's and off-road camp trailers.

Kids stay free and are not included in the site capacity.
Sites are easy access with a clear track. All sites are dispersed so you can choose where you stay.
We live on property and are happy to share and let people enjoy our beautiful location.
The morning birdsong and evening are restorative. The sunrises and sunsets amazing.
Far enough away to unwind and relax, close enough to get a caffeine fix if needed!
Coming into summer camp fires are subject to weather conditions and fire warnings.
Campers must be self-contained. Off grid campers, 4wd vehicles with pop ups or tents on ground and RVs can be accommodated. We have a leave only footprints philosophy. All rubbish and waste (human, animal & general) must be taken off property.
Extremely well behaved dogs are welcome. Our birds are free range so dogs need to be feathered friend friendly.

Yerrinbool is 1 hour from Sydney and a great spot to spend a weekend away, 15 mins from Bowral and 10 mins to Mittagong
There are animals on the farm including ducks, chickens, goats, sheep and sometimes even baby cows.
The property does need a little clean up but the rear of the property is nice and tranquil. We are directly next to the HWY so sometimes there is road noise, but it's a great location for an easy stopover. Easy access for caravans, keeping in mind the weather as like in all areas it becomes soft when wet.
Please note, while we do permit more than one car per site booking, we only allow 1 caravan per site. So if you are in a group with more than 1 caravan, you will need to book multiple sites. Any questions, please let us know.
We have Fire Pits in key locations around the farm PLEASE DO NOT move them as they signify each spot for camping. They have allocated spots and we do not need them moved.
We also have a toilet in a small shed in the rear paddock for people who are using tents. Also when you come to the campsite please insure that when using the toilet to keep it clean as it is a bush toilet.
Water to flush the toilet is in a tank behind the shed and if your a male please use a tree for number 1. We want to minimise flushes where possible, please keep clean for the next camper.
and water is at the front of the property, if you're required to fill your tanks or rinse off.
We have two dams with yabbies you are welcome to collect. If you do collect some please be respectful in the amounts you collect and also throw some raw meat and or frozen veggies like peas and corn into the dam to provide food for the others to grow.

Bring your mountain bike, fishing rod, swimmers, hiking boots, tennis racket, basketball (a hoop on the tennis court) or climbing gear and leave the kids in the play area while you sit by the creek and listen to the water tumbling through the rocks.
If you are as intrigued by rare animals as we are, then this is the place for you. 63 Bird species, 24 mammals, 16 reptiles, and 12 amphibians have been sighted in the area (Clarke 2012) and this includes many rare and endangered species including the platypus, brush-tailed rock wallaby, Giant burrowing frog, Gang-gang cockatoo, Glossy black-cockatoo, Koala, Little Lorikeet and the Yellow-bellied glider.
We only have three campsites at present, so you will be guaranteed peace, space and privacy. with a minimum of 400m between all sites. Please note, that your group must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, however fresh drinking water is available.
Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong and Dad's camp sites but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend site is only suitable for 4x4's and off-road camp trailers.

The property does need a little clean up but the rear of the property is nice and tranquil. We are directly next to the HWY so sometimes there is road noise, but it's a great location for an easy stopover. Easy access for caravans, keeping in mind the weather as like in all areas it becomes soft when wet.
Please note, while we do permit more than one car per site booking, we only allow 1 caravan per site. So if you are in a group with more than 1 caravan, you will need to book multiple sites. Any questions, please let us know.
We have Fire Pits in key locations around the farm PLEASE DO NOT move them as they signify each spot for camping. They have allocated spots and we do not need them moved.
We also have a toilet in a small shed in the rear paddock for people who are using tents. Also when you come to the campsite please insure that when using the toilet to keep it clean as it is a bush toilet.
Water to flush the toilet is in a tank behind the shed and if your a male please use a tree for number 1. We want to minimise flushes where possible, please keep clean for the next camper.
and water is at the front of the property, if you're required to fill your tanks or rinse off.
We have two dams with yabbies you are welcome to collect. If you do collect some please be respectful in the amounts you collect and also throw some raw meat and or frozen veggies like peas and corn into the dam to provide food for the others to grow.

Oakleigh Farm Stay is situated in the beautiful Southern Highlands. Getting here is an adventure in itself!
As you drive down a winding track through native bushland, it opens up into a hidden escape cocooned by nature.
We have a variety of wildlife including wallabies, lyrebirds, kangaroo, deer, wombats, and echidna to name a few.
Our little farm includes chicken, rabbit, sheep, an alpaca a horse and our dog. You can be introduced to the animals at feeding time.
If you enjoy a challenge you can take hike down to our creek which is always changing with the weather.
We are closely located to Exeter General Store, Dawning Day Winery and Farm Club if you're after a bite to eat.

These are all within 10 to 45 minutes travelling by car.
Grade of walks, leisurely to advanced.
Noise Curfew, conversation & music are to be kept to a minimum volume 🎶 after 9 pm as the local fauna and nocturnal fauna are foraging.
Other staying guests and neighbours should also be considered.
No pets, as there are local fauna that are not domesticated, kangaroo, wombat, snakes and possums.
We are a working farm with large machinery and equipment.

We loved our stay by the Oak grove site, super private and protected, perfect for our little kids and doggo. We loved exploring through the trees, spotted kangaroos and rabbits, lots of wombats have been around, went exploring on Lisa's property to say hi to the horses and see the huge dam. A beautiful place to camp and very easy to find with Lisa's clear instructions. She was great and communicated well to help make our stay comfortable. Out of the hip camps we've stayed, it's now added as one of our favourites. Very reasonably priced and kids stay free even better. A hassle free experience. We'll definitely be back! 🏕️💕

Had a really good time at Matthew’s land. The area you camp on is beautiful with cows around and plenty of lovely scenery. They had toilets close by which was perfect for if we had to get up in the middle of the night. And each camping area had its own fire pit to use which was lovely in the evening. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time camping at David’s! The location is perfectly quiet, surrounded by nature, and felt very secluded - even being so close to Sydney. Having some basic facilities makes the trip much easier and David is a fantastic host, including giving us some tips for our visit to dharawal national park. Would highly recommend!

this property is open and friendly. no actual signs to identify the gate but it's well numbered. loved not needing to share the land with other campers. water provided was very welcome. need to do your homework to locate bins and waste disposal. great access to the rest of the south Coast and all it has to offer.

This is the second time we have stayed at Kate’s property and like the first, we had a wonderful experience. It’s a peaceful patch of countryside so close to the attractions of the south coast. Huskinson, Milton, Ulladulla and Mollymook.
There’s nothing like waking up in the country to a beautiful sunrise slight mist across the paddocks and a cup of coffee.
Kate and David are so helpful and are excellent hosts. They are only too willing to help if needed. We had firewood delivered to our site and Dave came to check on us when we had battery issues and again to warn us of incoming weather.
We would recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away from it in a peaceful setting, yet still in close proximity to the coastline and attractions.
We will be back again and again.

260328 - 260407 - Where to start, this very beautiful bush camp truely gives to the privacy you deserve to get away from reality. Access was very simple & easy to navigate for our 12 meter set up - LC200 and a Crusader Prince - piece of pie it was that simple. The property is very safe & secure & provides some of the best in wild life Australia has to offer. The sounds & sights of a Huge kangaroo, possum, frogs, a goanna, a deer & the simply amazing birdlife who sleep at night in the tree canopies are serenaded by the romantic soft humming of the far away distance highway makes you feel like you could live here forever. Put them all together & its like someone is singing to you its beautiful.
Following the secret, track down to our little piece of paradise surrounded by the most amazing silver gums that show their true glamour as the sun sets in the afternoon makes you speachless, its nature at is best.
Firewood is available to purchase & WOW.... do you get some firewood you won't be asking for more there is so much.
Whilst it feels like your so far away from the world, everything is so close . The Apple Shack is just down the road & opersite a cute waterfall, the Historic mining town of Helensburgh is 15 mins away with Scarborough, Engadine, Bald Hill etc, etc, etc. Just so much to see & do if you want, or just enjoy hidding away from the World at your camp site.
The host Melissa is a true, geniune old school lady with a Huge heart & is there for you if u need her.

Stayed here over Easter weekend just 5 minutes outside Huskisson and honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and relaxing.
Matthew was a great host. He was super welcoming and went above and beyond for us. Gave us loads of firewood, which made the whole experience even better—especially at night around the fire.
Overall, such a great spot with top-notch hospitality. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a chilled camping trip around the area. Will definitely be back!
