100 acres of secluded paradise with a kilometer of free flowing pebbled creek. Bound on two sides by the craggy escarpments of the Budgong and Morton National Parks there is ample grassland to give a feeling of space yet an abundance of trees to wander through as you engage with the tame wildlife and magnificent birdlife. Bring your mountain bike, fishing rod, swimmers, hiking boots, tennis racket, basketball (a hoop on the tennis court) or climbing gear and leave the kids in the play area while you sit by the creek and listen to the water tumbling through the rocks. If you are as intrigued by rare animals as we are, then this is the place for you. 63 Bird species, 24 mammals, 16 reptiles, and 12 amphibians have been sighted in the area (Clarke 2012) and this includes many rare and endangered species including the platypus, brush-tailed rock wallaby, Giant burrowing frog, Gang-gang cockatoo, Glossy black-cockatoo, Koala, Little Lorikeet and the Yellow-bellied glider. We only have five campsites at present, so you will be guaranteed peace, space and privacy. with a minimum of 300m between all sites. Please note, that your group must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, however fresh drinking water is available. Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong and Dad's camp sites but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend and the Crossing sites are only suitable for 4x4's and off-road vans / trailers. We have a chain of dams to throw a line or catch some yabbies, even float around in the kayaks, or just sit beside and soak up the rays. We have horses, chooks, ducks and peafowl. On the property you may see wombats, kangaroos, the odd fox, and many birds. An easy and 10kms from the Hume Hwy there are numerous camp sites, one by the oak grove, a couple by the dam and with lovely rural vista. Kids stay free and are not included in the site capacity. Sites are easy access with a clear track. All sites are dispersed so you can choose where you stay. We live on property and are happy to share and let people enjoy our beautiful location. The morning birdsong and evening frog song is a restorative. The sunrises and sunsets amazing, and the stars beautiful. Far enough away to unwind and relax, close enough to get a caffeine fix if needed! Close to charming village of Bundanoon, Berrima, local wineries and good food outlets. Coming into winter camp fires are a must, generally best to BYO wood. Campers must be self-contained. We have a leave only footprints philosophy. All rubbish and waste (human, animal & general) must be taken off property. We have had any and all types of campers, from swags to RVs and everything in between, all can be accommodated. Extremely well behaved dogs are welcome. Our birds are free range so dogs need to be feathered friend friendly. Horses also welcome, separate paddocks available. Please contact for separate costs. Such a cute spot. The charm of this place with the birds in the morning and the horses calling to each other was a treat. Kirsty was lovely, and showed us around to the camp site, and super accommodating given our trip and late arrival. For others, take not to turn at the first gate as you come in from the highway. The Google Maps address will take you to the main house driveway which is not useable to get the camp sites. We’ll definitely stay again next time we’re going through Nowra

What a place to switch off and get away from the world! No traffic noise, no people, absolute complete privacy and the sounds of the gentle rapids, the birds and pure bliss. No mod cons here, which is kinda the point. Worth noting, the drop toilet is not down by the river and is an uphill walk from the site that will get the old heart pumping a bit. If you are self sufficient, no worries! Fun drive in on some dirt roads, the drive down from the property gate is definitely 4x4 but nothing too hectic. Even the rain the entire time didn't dampen my experience. Great property, give yourself a few nights to really take it in. Thanks Brett.

Very lovely secluded property. The camp spots are very private and spacious. We stayed at Sunset which is pretty much a bush clearance and not much to look at during the day but is quite nice around sunset and dusk. The stars and the views of the gorge (a short walk) are spectacular. A bit over priced but I’d still recommend.

Missingham Creek Camp Site Review We had a fantastic stay at Missingham Creek Camp Site with 7 people and 1 dog. There was more than enough space for our whole party, and the site was a great option for a relaxed camping trip. The single bathroom was more than adequate for our group. It’s simple but clean and functional, although there are no showers, so keep that in mind when planning your stay. The property is 2WD accessible, which made getting in and out easy. We had no contact with the property owner during our stay, but there was no need to — everything was straightforward and hassle-free. Reception in the area was limited, which was actually a nice change for getting away from things, although it's worth being prepared for limited phone service. The location is also very convenient, with the local Robertson Pie Shop only around a 5-minute drive away, and the local pub and mini mart about 10 minutes away. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Missingham Creek Camp Site. We’ll be coming back in the future!
