Really lovely property with an excellent river running through it. Had a great time host was available and helpful when we arrived went to effort to keep all the campers secluded from each other where she could. We would love to come back one day

What a lovely clean and tidy campsite! Beautiful views and sunsets/sunrises. 16-19 foot vans will fit in designated areas easily. Nice clear creek and easy access. The baths in the old truck were cool! Nice place to base camp or chillax. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits. Nice and peaceful. We would highly recommend Scouts Run. Note : Just want to mention to anyone towing coming from Sydney way you will have a 10klm steep decent going through Browns Mountain approx 15 mins prior to the site location. This can be tricky and you need to gear right down and not melt your brakes.

We love our stay at Glennbrooke River Camp. The camp sites are grassy, private, and right next to the river. We enjoyed fishing in the river and having lots of space for our dog to run around. Highly recommended 😊

The sites are large, private, clean and well maintained. You are right on the river which actually has fish (we caught 10, some bring and flatheads) one site has a shelter, table, chairs, a few hot plates, bbq bits and pieces and a fresh water tank. Brooke and little Cash come down for a catch up, we were having problems with our camper and Glenn came down to see if he could give us a hand. We would suggest you take a day trip to Tilba, nice drive to a quirky country town. Narooma is not too far away and beautiful part of the world. Always good to have a chat to Brooke about her farm and homesteading, she’s a genuine good egg. I’m sure we’ll be back. Thanks guys for another beautiful off grid getaway 💚

This spot at Glennbrooke was superb! We were there by ourselves, by the river, watching the tide come and go, listening to the birds. A complete downtime . Tranquil . Glenn and Brooke were great hosts. Got that balance of leaving us be and making sure our stay was as good as it can be. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend

Loved the access to the creek - take a dip, it’s really nice. Shona came out and welcomed us, which was very nice. Easy access to camp sites. Sites were all flat and easy to peg into. Close to Merimbula if you want beaches and oysters. Drop toilet was good as well, nice and clean. We enjoyed our time here!

This was our second visit to Glennbrooke and we already can’t wait to come back. So peaceful, private and quiet. Our favourite thing about Glennbrooke is the opportunity to literally sit back and watch the world go by, whilst watching the fish jumping, the kingfishers fluttering along the banks of the inlet, the Glossies flying overhead and the kangaroos resting in the paddock. We love that we can bring our hound and he loves it! Brooke is the BEST host(ess) and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels supported to drop in and truly relax. 10/10 from us.

If you’re looking for a peaceful camp spot, where you can wind down and have a beer and a fish after a short ride back from a day at Narooma mtb park. Then this is the one! It’s a beautiful property, owned and run by a beautiful family. Couldn’t recommend enough.

1 night at Kallarroo Farm, nr Nimmitabel

Kallarroo is a beautiful and nature integrated experience. From the drive down to the paddock where you move past rolling hills full of horses, birds and kangaroos to the open pasture and cattle of the field beyond the river, the entire experience is incredible. The site itself is gorgeous and secluded and is exactly as advertised on Hipcamps - they’ve actually been quite modest in their description! Bea was a magnificent host who provided detailed and clear instruction to make the process as seamless as possible. We loved our stay at Kallarroo and would definitely come back. I couldn’t recommend this stay highly enough!

The camp ground is super spacious, out in nature vibes, great view and last but not lease the access to private creek is the best part of this property🤩 We stayed at Camp 2 and will be sharing some pictures for reference. Highly recommend staying here with your mates and exploring nearby town old town Bega

Debra has a beautiful grassed area right on the river which is suitable for tents and caravans. Portaloo's are provided. There is plenty of room between each camp site. I loved the peace and quiet but just a 10min drive into Moruya! Debra provided directions to make it easy to find! We would certainly love to come back here!!! Would highly recommend the golf club for dinner also!

Weekend Trip to Glennbrooke River Camp

This camp site was awesome. I am into both mountain Biking and kayak fishing so I was in the perfect location for both. It was great to be camping in a private location to keep my expensive equipment for both activities secure. I had some luck with the fishing too. Despite venturing further down the inlet and up the other creek at the head of the inlet, I had the most success in the river just down from the camp. The scenery was also pretty special with fish constantly jumping in the river and pretty nice weather. There were campers on the other site, but they were pretty quiet and were friendly whenever I passed by. I definitely plan to be back, it is worth the 5 hour drive from home.

Glenduart Farm Riverside Camps

Welcome to our spacious riverside camp sites on the banks of the beautiful Moruya river in the South Coast of New South Wales! Glenduart Farm Riverside camps are the perfect location for enjoying the camp, or as a base for exploring the local area. We are located just a short distance from town, where you can find a range of shops, restaurants and cafes. If you love markets, you're in luck! There are plenty of local markets in the area, including the Moruya Country Markets which are held every Saturday. You can also visit the Moruya Farmers Market, held on Tuesday afternoons, or the nearby Tilba Market, held on Saturday mornings. The tiny nearby town of Bodalla boasts a magnificent dairy with cheese tasting (try the lemon myrtle!) and interactive calf feeding daily at 10am and 4pm. If you want a few pints and great meal, the ribs at the Adelaide Hotel are magnificent (although only available seasonally) and a courtesy bus is available from the entrance to the property. There are plenty of tourist attractions to explore in the area, including the stunning Eurobodalla National Park, the historic town of Mogo and the renowned Mogo Zoo. For those who love the outdoors, the Moruya river is perfect for fishing, kayaking and swimming. If you're looking for natural beauty, you'll be spoilt for choice. Take a drive along the coast and discover beautiful, secluded beaches, or explore the nearby forests and waterfalls. Our riverside camp sites are great for large or small groups boasting generously sized and spaced grassed sites offering beautiful views of the abundant Moruya river along with individual firepits* Whatever your interests, Glenduart Farm Riverside Camps are the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that the South Coast has to offer. THE IMPORTANT STUFF: ACCESS: As you enter the property, you'll find yourself driving down an unsealed dirt road, before embarking on approx 100 meters of fairly flat to gently sloping paddocks. We recommend 4WD or AWD vehicles to access, however will leave this to your discretion. PETS: We are a working farm with horses and cows that are easily spooked and we only allow dogs under very (very) special circumstances. Please send an enquiry if you wish to bring a furbaby along, but as a rule, we do not allow dogs on the property. AMENITIES: There are no drinking water or electricity provisions on site. There is a toilet provided with walking distance to all sites. Our future campers and native wildlife request that you keep your business contained to onboard toilets, porta potties or the toilet provided. Under NO circumstances are toilet cassettes to be emptied in or around the river or campsites. RIVER ACCESS: Our large sites offer sweeping views and great fishing however the banks are raised and will require some tenacity if you wish to swim or pop a kayak in. You can however moore small watercraft including boats & jetskis after putting them in at the boat ramp a short drive up the river. FENCING: We have farm fencing in place between the camp sites and the river bank, however we advise small children be monitored as there are several open access points along the riverbank. As mentioned, we are a working farm using gates and fences to contain our livestock. As a rule, leave all gates as you find them (eg: if you open a gate, close it after you. If its already open, leave it open) WILDLIFE: You'll see huge wombat holes all along the river bank - although tempting for the kids, please refrain from digging these out further as our wombats still use them as houses and they contribute to riverbank erosion. You may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of our fabled red stag in the evenings and will see an array of beautiful birds and other native animals that share our property. Please note: Any form of animal cruelty will not be tolerated and there is no hunting allowed on the property. *FIRES: Govt / weather restrictions permitting. Maybe lit in designated firepit areas only - BYO Firewood. A small wood pile is provided to each camp on arrival to get you started and provide a modest fire for the night, however chopped firewood is available by the bag or wheelbarrow on a cash basis. $25 for a large bag - $50 for a barrow. Let us know in your booking if you'd like us to arrange to have purchased firewood on site for when you arrive.

Scout's Run is set on 20 acres sitting just outside the beautiful town of Candelo. The Tantawangalo Creek meanders along the northern boundary, with numerous deep swimming holes and sandy beaches to be enjoyed. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the creek or a float down stream. Or a cold plunge in the alfresco bathtub. Grassy campsites, along the ridge line, giving views of the creek and rural vista beyond make for a beautiful stay. Scout's Run offers a wonderfully relaxing place to unwind and enjoy nature at its best. Coffee and supplies are only a few minutes away, or enjoy a day at the beach just 25 mins down the road. Glennbrooke River Camp offers approximately 1.2 km of stunning river frontage which feeds into the beautiful Wagonga Inlet. Campers are required to be fully self sufficient with their OWN toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. LEAVE NO TRACE. CARS MUST BE 4WD IF TOWING The property borders Bodalla State Forest and Box Cutting rainforest walk where you can find multiple mountain bike and walking tracks. We are just 15 minutes from beautiful Narooma beach and township where you can find everything you need for your stay. There is also a fire pit available at each site and you can purchase firewood,Let us know what you require and we have it ready for your stay. Pets are welcome but please only let them off-leash if they are friendly and won't disturb other campers. Free Dump points are located at Dalmeny and Moruya. Please note: Whilst we can accept motorhomes and campervans in normal weather conditions, if there has been heavy rain access is effected and these vehicles will struggle to get to the campsites. We will do our best to keep an eye on the weather report, and let you know if we have any concerns. We ask that you kindly do the same.

Riverview is just a five-minute drive from the famous Bega Cheese Factory located in Bega, NSW. Our 33-acre property has 360-degree views of mountains, rolling farmland, and countryside and it overlooks the beautiful Bega River. Tathra is just 15 minutes drive away, with Merimbula around 25 minutes, Bermagui 45 minutes, and Eden 35 minutes. All of these towns have beautiful beaches, fishing, boating, whale-watching tours, and much more. Pack a picnic and walk to the river just down the hill from your camp site. The Bega river is clean fresh water and is well worth a visit on a hot day to cool off. Your hosts can show you a secluded area of the river that you can access easily. The whole area has an array of beautiful spots to explore both on the property and along the riverside. Jackie is always willing to give fresh produce from her veggie garden during your stay just to make you feel welcome. There are horses you can pat and a few sheep that are very friendly and love to be given bread. The historic Bega Cheese Factory and Heritage Center is just a couple of minutes away. The main shopping center and mall in town is just a five-minute drive. On our property, we can offer you a relaxing quiet stay in a secure area. Pitch your tent or park your campertrailer in the native bushland with the pristine Numeralla River as your boundary fence. This 3000 acre property is located close to Nimmitabel and not too far from Cooma. Try your hand at trout fishing and enjoy endless tracks for bushwalking and observing the native wildlife. Wander along the river banks just enjoying the serenity of the location and witness platypus feeding, water dragons sunning themselves and the brown trout fly feeding and one of Australia's beautiful but lesser known native rodents, Rakali (intelligent semi aquatic water rat who's scientific name translates to golden -bellied water mouse). One of Australia's two aquatic mammals, the platypus being the other. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. IF NO CHEMICAL TOILET, DIG A HOLE AT LEAST 30CM DEEP . There is access to a drinking water supply (mountain river water), or you can bring your own water. After heavy rain you may need to boil/filter for drinking. You will need a 4WD to access the campsites closest to the river as there is a shallow gully crossing. Camper trailer or off road pop up campers will be able to negoiate the tracks. Good clearance necessary to pass over one gully crossing. Dogs are welcome, however, we do run sheep in an adjoining paddock so they need to stay close to your camp. Kids aged 16 and under camp for free. There is a dedicated campfire pit so you can stay warm on chilly evenings (please check to see if there is a seasonal fire ban in place). Fire wood can be provided - chainsaws are permitted but be mindful of structures that are animal habitats. Your family may enjoy taking a bushwalk that takes you around the 300 acre native bush paddock. Climb up and get a birds eye view down into a gully of magnificent granite boulders above where the river disappears deep below. Identify the unique sounds of the native birds and follow the tracks wildlife create. We are centrally located - just 1.5 hours from the snowfields and from the best beaches of the NSW coastline. There is a small general store, 2 takeaway cafes and a pub at Nimmitabel, or you can get all supplies in Cooma 25 mins away. Please note that we have very limited reception service for mobiles, so let's communicate via messages before you arrive in our area. I can provide a camping setup if you need extra bedding or you don't have any camping equipment or tent.
