Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. Lovely campsite!! We were lucky to have it on our own and were able to camp on the grassier side. Definitely recommend ordering the trailer load of wood! Totally worth the money. Was nice too that the tide kept coming in & out so we were able to actually swim in the river. The host made us feel so welcomed and gave us total privacy too. We can’t wait to come back, the dogs loved it too!

4 nights at Kangarutha Farm

We had a wonderful mid-week stay at Kangarutha Bush Camp (Site 1) for 5 nights with our two dogs. It was the perfect peaceful spot and such a great base to explore the surrounding areas. Lisa and Tom were lovely hosts, welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help. The amenities were clean and well looked after, which made our stay even more comfortable. Our dogs absolutely loved the open space and bush setting, and we really appreciated how dog-friendly the site was. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful escape close to nature!

Everlong was fantastic, a quiet and private area on the Moodong bend, getting there was a breeze and the communication by the host was excellent...definitely a beautiful area to stay, and we will be sure to visit again.

Weekend Trip to Nello Campsite

Wow what a great weekend away. Rob was the perfect host. Communication was great before arrival. Very helpful during our stay. Property was very well maintained. Tucked away in a scenic location but only minutes away from the Pub and great little Cafe on waterside. Lots of mountain bike tracks close by. Lucky to have the monthly markets on while there. So much history in the area. We had a great time and already planning our next stay.

A beautiful, peaceful campsite! The grounds were green and the location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, and it made for a really relaxing stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a coastal getaway

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a lovely time at this Hipcamp! The river was perfect for a refreshing swim — a bit too shallow for fishing right out the front, but if you wander up or down the river you’ll likely find a good spot. The campground itself is beautiful, open, and private, making it a really peaceful stay. The host was very helpful and provided clear communication throughout. Would definitely recommend!

Was a great family friendly spot. We were up the top of the hill away from the beach, for us that was magical. Nice and quiet and dark skies to see the stars, but still only a short walk to the beach and amenities.
