We loved this farm stay. We booked site 1 which had power and it's a great spot right near where you walk down to the river. It was so tranquil. Well manicured. Cute swing set and had fun using the communal bikes. The pit toilets are very clean. We utilised the wood fire pizza oven the first night which was such a hit! The kids loved the farm tour, we got to see bunnies, goats, chickens and cows. Would definitely come back again in the warmer months the river would be awesome to swim in. You feel like you're in the middle of no-where (which you kinda are) but we went into port for the day and it's only half an hour drive. Highly recommend. Thanks so much guys!

Weekend Trip to Bark Hut Mill

We had an incredible long weekend at Bark Hut Mill. Got super lucky with beautiful sunny days and clear and crisp wintry nights and mornings. Kev was super lovely and dropped in to welcome us and have a yarn. Our group and two dogs had the best time, and we collectively decided we will have to be back for another visit this winter. What an incredible place to bring the family! We stayed for three nights and were so glad we did. The kids loved visiting the animals and riding their bikes. The swings were also a big hit. The pit toilets were perfect for us since we don't have amenities in our van. It was easy to tow our van to the campsite. Thank you, Rick and Cheryl!

This is our second visit to Bundilla River camp and once again it did not disappoint. This time we visited with friends and enjoyed our time swimming in the river, walking the short trail and saying hello to the cows as they passed our camp each morning. Kids loved the swing and visit to feed the animals. The addition of the pit toilets was a welcome surprise that added to our comfort. We enjoyed our time here so much we have all decided to make it at least an annual event.

Bundilla River Camp was the best!! Highly recommend to anyone. We loved it and were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves as we went just after the floods. It was a little wet and muddy but that was perfect for our kids. We had fires each night, watched the stars, woke up to the beautiful cows in the morning, river swims, swings, bike ride's and gorgeous walks. It was so quiet and peaceful. Toilets were clean and it was so handy having a river water tap to use. Rick and Cheryl were great to talk too. We only booked an hour or so before we arrived and it all went smoothly and was easy. We can’t wait to come back!

Levenvale farm is absolutely stunning! I arrived last minute and felt welcomed by the beautiful land. I wish I was able to stay another night and try something from the shop. The shower was amazing and really hot.

One of the nicest hipcamps we have stayed at!! We had the most peaceful night at Sammy’s property. Crystal clear waters and quiet bushland that was exactly the refresh we needed. It was a pleasure to meet Sammy and his family including their beautiful dog Banjo. It is clear that they take great pride in their slice of paradise and we were grateful to experience it for a night. Sammy was the perfect host and made sure to explain exactly how to access the property. Thank you again for being kind and understanding about our little pup Hank not being dog-social on our trip. Only 15 mins drive from the town of Macksville, 45 minutes from Coffs Harbour, 45 minutes from Port Macquarie and 20 minutes or so (but who counts) from the famous Pub With no Beer (which does have beer). This property is extremely private with a number of camp sites that have you feeling like the rest of the world no longer exists. There are six dams and views to the coast (from the top of the hill). You get to share it with a couple of horses and a few cows but it's ok they don't like sleeping in tents or caravans. Sunsets, sunrises and night time star gazing. It's an ideal place to de-stress and reconnect with nature. Welcoming self - contained campers who bring there own amenities. There is access to drinking water but otherwise everything is BYO and take away all your rubbish please. You can choose to either be completely secluded and away from everyone. 4WD access or walk in with tents. Or you can set up closer to the entrance road and roadway (more suitable to caravans). There are lovely walks on the property itself or go for a casual stroll up the dirt road but watch out for the 3 or 4 cars every couple of hours or so. Views are amazing, air is incredible and the night sky is breathtaking. Campfires are possible but only in some months. The ideal place to get away from it all but close enough to Coffs Coast Tourist attractions, including amazing places to eat. Your pet is welcome to camp with you, but please do not let them stray onto neighbours' farms or chase stock. They run the risk of being baited or shot. There is stock on the property so please leave all gates as you find them. If they are open they stay open. If closed they stay closed.

"The Riverbank" is only 7.5 kilometres and an easy 8 minute drive off the M1. The rich green land supports a small beef raising enterprise and the cattle graze in surrounding paddocks. "The Riverbank" as a destination for a relaxing time to unwind or a base from which to explore the beautiful Hastings area. The Abundance Nursery and Cafe with it's splendid lily pond view is a great spot to enjoy a meal or a coffee and only 3 kms back along Rawdon Island road. The pretty country town of Wauchope is only a 12 minute drive and is home to Timbertown, a theme park boasting steam train rides and a glimpse of the timber getting industry of a bygone era. Drop into the Vibe Coffee House, pick up "the best" coffee and a sensational meal before perusing the many treasures of Wauchope's specialty shops. A day trip to the Comboyne plateu is a rewarding experience and enhanced by enjoying a meal at the magnificant Byabarra Cafe on your way through. We're located 20 minutes from Nambucca Heads as well as Scotts Heads beaches, and 30 minutes from Taylors Arm. A quick trip up into the foothills will take you to some great 4WD and mountain biking tracks, or you can explore the region and visit the historical Pub With No Beer. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water, a picnic table and rubbish facilities. We recommend 4WDs to access the campsite and the river but 2WDs are ok. Your pet is welcome to camp with you.

Every site has a fire pit which must be used for campfires. If you want to use your own it must be off the ground. Firewood $20/ night after that (CASH ONLY PLEASE), except when camping at Chinamans Valley where you collect your own free firewood for each night. Beautiful drinking rain water is available in a 20lt Jerry can if required on arrival. Bird lovers can enjoy watching the various bird varieties, as well as ducks. Animals include wallabies, goannas, deer and fish as well as cattle and stock horses. Fishing is okay but it is STRICTLY catch and release ONLY. There are many places to go bushwalking, either following the river or heading up the valleys or hiking up the hills through the trees. The property is just 10kms from the convenience of Bowraville, a historic township with a supermarket, folk museum, a war museum, a historic theatre, and other historic buildings. Nambucca Heads and the beautiful surrounding beaches are just 27kms east and Coffs Harbour 80kms away. Please note this is a working farm, so there will be cattle and stock horses on the property that may approach your campsite.

Our park has a variety of accommodation options available to suit your needs and budget. Choose to stay at one of our powered or unpowered caravan and camping sites, with our waterfront sites large enough to accommodate all types of camper trailers, caravans and motor homes. As a Pet friendly park, you can bring along your additional family member on holidays with you, subject to the conditions of our Pet Policy. For the convenience of our guests, our Family Orientated Amenities block features 10 suites with hair dryers disabled shower, baby room, men’s room, guest laundry and a filtered water bottle station. We have a dump point located onsite with easy access. Bring your boat and your fishing rod along, and enjoy the magical sunrises and sunsets of the serene Bellinger River, right from your site. Pet Policy: Pets must be kept on a lead (retractable lead locked at no more than 1.5 metres) at all times and either retained by hand by an adult or tied up within your camp site. There is no “off leash area” in the park. Pets are not to be left unattended whilst you go out, they must go out with you. Pet owners are responsible for collection and disposal of their pet’s waste which must be sealed in a bag and disposed of in a rubbish bin. Bags are available for purchase in the office. Pet owners are personally responsible and liable for any and all injuries and/or property damage or losses in relation to any actions relating to their pet. For the enjoyments of all guests, please do not allow your pet to urinate etc on any guests site or property. For health and safety reasons, pets are not permitted in the Amenities Block, Laundry, Camp Kitchen, Community Garden, Pool (including pool area), BBQ area, or near, in or under Villas. If you wish to bath your pet, we have a bath located near the Back Boom Gate. Please feel free to use it. Please DO NOT wash pet bedding in the washing machines, dryers or laundry troughs.
