Our property is an easy walking distance to the local village where you will find the shop/ general store and the pub is dog friendly. It's around 1km to The Channon Craft Market grounds, and the markets are on the second Sunday of each month. Lots of crafts, clothes, jewellery, gifts, food stalls and entertainers to see and enjoy.
This campsite is located right on the banks of the flowing creek. It's a private site with access to two good swimming holes. Enjoy warming your feet around the campfire in the evenings, subject to fireban conditions.
We welcome only self-contained campers who bring their own camping shower and drinking water. There is access to rubbish facilities.
For those wanting to explore a bit further we are 15kms from Nightcap National Park and the beautiful Protesters Falls. There is a walking track that leads through lush World Heritage rainforest right up to the falls.

Our favourite part of living at Soulhaven is the daily orchestra of birds! Although you will feel like you’re completely secluded from busy town-life, we are only 15 minutes from the nearest shops.
Enjoy a toasty campfire in the evenings where you can sit back and gaze at the stars. There are trail bikes tracks nearby and the iconic Border Ranges is just past Kyogle.
This campsite is 2WD friendly and caravans are welcome. You may need to level your caravan for a good night's rest.
Your pet, on a lead, is welcome to camp with you. We love animals, but one of the reasons we left suburbia was to get away from barking dogs. If your dog barks at night, or is not we’ll socialised, you’re best to leave pooch at home!

Our campsite is set within our own ten acre private garden. Campers have close access to bathrooms built from eco-friendly shipping containers with composting toilets and warm showers; 2 fire pits, education/function centre (available for hire), a camp kitchen with fridge/freezer (no cooktop), a common sheltered area to relax with wifi.

Over one kilometre of "Rocky Creek" runs through the Pecan Fields camp area, providing gorgeous waterholes for swimming, walks and great water front sites to set up camp for the weekend! You can even see Platypus in the early mornings, playing in the creek. All of the camp areas are easily access-able and flat, usually 2wd car is all you need. We also provide you with creature comforts such as a cold/ hot shower and fresh pit toilets :)

You will feel like you are immersed in the beauty of nature here and yet you are only 6 minutes easy drive from the village of Dunoon, NSW 2480 and 45 minutes beautiful country drive from glorious Byron Bay beaches and it's very exciting night life! On every second sunday of the month, the Channon Markets are on, which is just 10 minutes drive from camp.
Sorry, we can't cater for dogs due to camp being a native animal sanctuary.
Dunoon village is cute yet, very practical.
There is a general store, bottle shop and they sell ice, Mechanic, Post Office and the best bit, you can even go out for dinner or lunch depending on the day, at the Dunoon Sports Club/ Pub or Channon Tavern, then head back to your secluded country camp and cool off in the beautiful creek or warm up and enjoy some quality time around the camp fire!

Located at The Channon, we are not far from the well known towns of Nimbin and Lismore (both 20kms away but in different directions) and Byron Bay which is 40km away.
Our property is an easy walking distance to the local village where you will find the shop/ general store and the pub is dog friendly. It's around 1km to The Channon Craft Market grounds, and the markets are on the second Sunday of each month. Lots of crafts, clothes, jewellery, gifts, food stalls and entertainers to see and enjoy.
This campsite is located right on the banks of the flowing creek. It's a private site with access to two good swimming holes. Enjoy warming your feet around the campfire in the evenings, subject to fireban conditions.
We welcome only self-contained campers who bring their own camping shower and drinking water. There is access to rubbish facilities.
For those wanting to explore a bit further we are 15kms from Nightcap National Park and the beautiful Protesters Falls. There is a walking track that leads through lush World Heritage rainforest right up to the falls.

Pitch your tent or drive your 4WD right up to our running creek that features lovely swimming holes, rock pools and large shady trees. This area is great to watch the sunset over the macadamia orchard or sit by the campfire at night. This campsite is set in a very private location on our 26 acre property.
You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. There is access to a picnic table for meals.

Enjoy a toasty campfire in the evenings where you can sit back and gaze at the stars. There are trail bikes tracks nearby and the iconic Border Ranges is just past Kyogle.
This campsite is 2WD friendly and caravans are welcome. You may need to level your caravan for a good night's rest.
Your pet, on a lead, is welcome to camp with you. We love animals, but one of the reasons we left suburbia was to get away from barking dogs. If your dog barks at night, or is not we’ll socialised, you’re best to leave pooch at home!

This is why hipcamp is so good. Really great property. Some good walks no traffic noise. Met some nice people. Some amazing camping sites with views.

Nice clear area for setting up camp without too much fuss about space taken up. Good toilet and shower facilities, including for handicapped individuals. Communal building allowing AC power supply for charging phones, cameras and other electronic devices. Very friendly hospitality extended by area manager Patricia and associate Dillon and other staff.

Okay you're looking for a short getaway. Quiet with great amenities and in a paddock full of nut trees. Look no further. This place is a revelation. Go here. Relax. Unwind because let's be honest - none of your friends have camped amongst acres of macadamia trees!

I purchased 1 night camping with canoe and damper as extras. Thisxwas a present for my mum and she loved it. She also enjoyed exploring the surrpunding areas includeing Alstonville for coffee.

What an amazing place to stay the photos don't do the stay justice, we came with a camper trailer and 4x4 car had the option to stay way out in the middle of nowhere but stayed fairly close to the amenities which not many hipcamps offer hot showers and free WiFi, once set up we had a walk down to the amazing waterfall and took the 4x4 up on the peaks to watch the sunset over the distant mountains, gregg is 1 of the most friendly people even when busy he will stop make sure your fine have a chat bit of advice even offer to take you around the 270 acre land in his biggie, I would 100% stay again, great location for nimbin, lismore and 1 hour from byron bay and minyon falls, must see places and a must place to stay

Wow! What an awesome campsite! I had a perfect stay there with my dog. The campsite is so pretty, grassy with lovely shade trees, plus the undercover area and tables is a great setup. I was in absolute awe at the incredible gardens nearby, and we had many strolls through there, always seeing something new each time. Thank you for a very relaxing and peaceful couple of days, looking forward to returning in a couple months time and seeing the different season in the gardens.

Always a great stay at Oakey Ridge! The property feels so inviting and Greg is such a welcoming host. There’s been some great upgrades to the amenities and camping sites since i stayed in 2024, which signifies a caring land owner. I was parked about 1km away from the main amenities block and still had decent Telstra service. It was the perfect camp to sit and be with country, thank you Greg for the time :)

What a peaceful welcoming bush camp - highly recommend. Private camp, with amazing facilities set up (toilet / shower with hot water) & undercover open bush area to cook / enjoy the space. Would definitely advise bringing some cash with you to buy the macadamia some nuts (delicious!) on the way in to enjoy eating under the trees 🌳. Plenty of shade / cool spaces (essential for summer camping) & all the facilities for open fire 🔥 in Winter.
Will definitely be back.

Booked for a couple of nights as a camping test run with my family and couldn't have picked a better spot. Hosts were super lovely and accomodating, checked in to make sure we were having a good time.
The property was beautiful and peaceful and of course getting taken to see and feed the cows was amazing. Very keen to come back for a longer stay in the future!

Absolutely gorgeous land. Greg is an absolute legend for letting me snag some of the amazing looking mangos that were growing while I was there (not much better than munching straight into fruit off a tree). Bit of a trek to either loo from the fig tree site but absolutely worth it to be able to pat a couple cows on the way.

We had an awesome stay at Riverbend Retreat. The campground is set right above the river, with the water literally running just below the site, which makes for an unreal backdrop the whole time you’re there. The river itself is crystal clear and perfect for swimming, relaxing, or just sitting back and taking it all in.
For anyone into fishing, this spot is a winner — there’s some cracking bass fishing right out front, especially early morning and late arvo. It’s one of those places that feels peaceful and secluded but still has everything you need for a great camping getaway.
We’ll definitely be back 👍

The place was lovely. Extremely quiet and private. A bonus was fresh water, 12 volt power and a toilet. Well done Damien. If all Hipcamps were this good.
