The property was first settled in the 1840’s and became the headquarters of Tamrookum Station in 1878 when Robert Collins and his family purchased the property. Just over an hour from the Gold Coast and Brisbane. At Logan Park Farm we have camping grounds and Murphy's Country Accommodation - a three bedroom cottage. Scenic Rim Regional Council Camp Ground Licence Acc21/0010 and Acc21/0012 There are no facilities here, if you do not have toilet facilities please do not book any of our sties. Firewood is available please message if you require it. Please arrive to camp prior to dark. Message host if you need to arrive later. The camp sites are spacious with plenty of distance between each site - no crowds. Each site is for your group only. Open for bookings for Christmas and New Year - numbers are limited. No large parties. We prefer to promote a quieter area. Beautiful sunsets, mountain views, birds and quiet surroundings. Enjoy the stars on a clear night. Explore the beautiful Scenic Rim area from here. Visit the historic Tamrookum All Saints Memorial Church. A large natural lagoon and the Logan River provide opportunities to relax, swim, fish or kayak. An abundance of Carp and Tilapia provide great fishing opportunities at the Lagoon or the Logan River. Children aged 12 years and under no charge (please do not include them in your numbers when making a booking) Pet friendly off-grid camping. All sites are unpowered. No motorboats or motor bikes. No parties - this is a quiet camping area please keep noise including music to a minimum level. Please respect our wildlife, our neighbours and your camping neighbours at all times. The Camping is in a semi rural area near not so pristine creek but still okay. There are some trees, a shed and some sheep. This is a very rustic camping situation. Relaxed, independent campers will enjoy the rustic beauty. It is a good base to explore the Byron area. It is close to Byron and Bangalow. There is a old hippy shed you can use if you get rained out but be warned it is very rustic. It has an old pool table and some couches. It has some limited electricity. There are some stacks of timber that are potentially dangerous so children under 12 not recommended.

We recently had the pleasure of camping at Seaview Summit, and it was a truly delightful experience. The views from the summit were absolutely breathtaking, offering a stunning panorama of the surrounding landscape. The campsite itself was well-maintained and provided all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Our neighbors (birds and lizards) were respectful, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout our visit. We highly recommend Seaview Summit for anyone seeking a beautiful and serene camping getaway.

This is one of the best locations, close to Brisbane, easy access, nice level areas, and scenery that changes each time we come. This was our 3rd time at Libby’s beautiful property. It’s always well maintained and just the most perfect place to unwind within the large site areas. This time was extra special for us as Libby’s cattle were in the area right near our site but fenced off from coming through to our camp. It was great to get close to them, such beautiful healthy cattle and the little ones are so cute. Thank you once again Libby for sharing your beautiful property with us. It’s our favourite place to spend time in the Scenic Rim and only 1 hour from home. ❤️

Thanks Bryce, we had a great 3 nites at this site. Plenty of shade to set our camper up in. Creek right in front of the site with a decent size and deep clear swimming hole. Perfect for a refreshing dip and float to around in. Every now and again a little noise from the road, however you are far enough in not to feel too exposed! We checked out Bryce’s other site.. Silky Oak which was a lot more private with 2 deeper swimming holes…keen to try that one next time 🙂
