We run horses, sheep and other farm animals. We have several vacant paddocks at any one time. Camp any ware on the property you wish (depending on weather and stock) or in a parkland type setting within view of the house. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. You must have your own amenities. Tank (drinking) water is available at the house. Relax around the campfire in the evenings as you enjoy the stars in the night sky. The country is reasonably flat and accessible for any type of vehicle. There are areas of mown parkland settings or rough paddocks. You can choose where to set up, the paddock areas can be slashed if required.Pets are welcome.

CCA Zone parks are Community Conservation Areas reserved as national parks. The greater Dubbo region offers many activities for tourists, adventure seekers and nature lovers. The Tiny House is fully self-contained with a fold out double bed and a little kitchenette featuring a fridge, cookware and utensils and a BBQ. The bathroom/laundry are separate. You're welcome to go for a swim in the dam which is a short walk away, or take a stroll to the top of the rocky hill to see 360 degree views. There are also kangaroos, wallabies and echidnas who roam the area. It's a beautiful place to snap a pic especially if you catch the morning sunrises and spectacular sunsets which are guaranteed to wow you. Do as little or as much as you want to on your stay. A perfect place to just unwind and take in the fresh country air and beautiful views. Stroll around the property and visit the old barn and some of the sheds and farming equipment that are scattered among the paddocks. You will have access to composting toilets or feel free to BYO facilities. Campfires are welcome in the pits provided, permitting there are no restrictions at the time of your visit. Dogs are welcomed as long as they are supervised and kept indoors at night. Being within 20 minutes to the local town of Coolah, it's a perfect stop over for an overnight stay or for a long weekend. I have dabbled in permaculture, biodynamics, organic farming etc. decades of drought, then fires then now flooding and storms has taken its toll. I am fully off grid and upgrading my system. I lost my vegie garden during the drought, but now trying to reestablish it. I am aware of the special significance of the Aboriginal presence of the area. With the funds from the camping I am trying establish camps for the Wiradjuri people to regain their knowledge and culture.

Ideally situated just off the Golden Highway, approximately an hour to Western Plains Zoo, the beautiful wine and food destination of Mudgee or amazing Coonabarabran National Park and observatory. This is the perfect spot for secluded and scenic views with Aussie wildlife just outside. Our place is perfect for the no trace camper who wants to get away from it all and experience the bush life. The perfect spot to leave your van and explore around our magnificent country. There is access to a toilet but no shower or drinking water. Lots of free activities within Dunedoo, such as the Woodlands and our painted Silo. We have cattle on our land. Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.

Dogs are welcome &; we have stables or individual paddocks available if you'd like to bring your equine friends (no riding on the property due to insurance). Old Bara is a stunning cattle property, often described as truly magical. Camp next to the creek and dogs are welcome! Old Bara offers so much more than just a place to park. Suitable for all size vehicles/vans/tents. We have great loos, voted as "the best in Australia" however, we do not have showers or powered sites. Many sites available, avoid the crowds, we do not over crowd our campers. Only 25 mins easy drive to all the wonderful Mudgee wineries, cafes and restaurants. It's the perfect place to unwind and recharge the batteries. Give the kids a screen free holiday! Dogs are welcome as long as they on leads at all times except in the off leash paddock.

YARRALLA on the Marthaguy

The Marthaguy Campground on 'Yarralla' is located on the Newell Highway 5 km south of Gilgandra - The town of the Windmills. 55 km North of Dubbo with easy access to the Dubbo Western Plains Zoo and 80 km South of the Warrumbungle National Park. The campground is 800m off the Newell Highway tucked in on the Marthaguy Creek out of highway sight. Yarralla is a working mixed farming enterprise running sheep, cattle and cropping. The campground also overlooks a large dam with a Jetty. The campground offers a safe and secure location to camp away from town. Wood is available for a camp fire during winter months.

Liberty Plains

Liberty Plains offers bush camping for self contained campers. day trips are also available by booking the site that is listed as ‘day trips’ please read the description under that site before booking. There is one toilet available, a portable toilet (if the toilet runs out of soap/paper etc you will need to supply your own. The property offers a large dam for kayaking, fishing, yabbying. There is also bush walking. There is a small common area/ shed available with a bbq for guests to use and a table. There is also a shower and toilet available near the main house shed for a donation in the donation box to cover water and gas. If exploring please do not go through any fences as you may end up on a neighbors property. Guests may camp as close or far away from the main dam as they like, camp sites are first in first served. Pets allowed if kept under control, firewood is permitted to be used from the ground only no felling of standing trees, you may have a fire on the ground. Please find your own way to camp by following your map that will be sent to you on booking and the signs that are posted from the driveway on after you turn in the main entrance, no need to meet and greet with host although I may come around occasionally to see if everything is going alright.
