We had a great time here for the 4 days, the friendly hosts greeted us which was a nice touch. Clean amenities placed all over the multiple camping areas, and we were placed in a nice and quiet spot on the creek. Would recommend!

Very peaceful farm, bush camp with lots of birds and wildlife. Clean pit toilets and camp fire pits available. Also nice walks on property with lovely views.

4 nights at Middleham - Rest Easy River Views

Totally recommend so tranquil. Unfortunately my hubby has a bad back and he put it out while camping so we had to cut it short. But we will definitely be back 100%

5 nights at Old Bara aka "Baradise"

Old Bara exceeded all our expectations. A last minute find to avoid the rain, turned into an amazing stay which we will definitely return to. Key highlights: - Well maintained pit toilets - it’s as good as it gets for a pit toilet (speaking from awful other experiences). - So much space, barely saw other people - Such beautiful landscape. We loved being able to walk around the property - even has own little 3km hike to the picnic table - Great communication from hosts - Reasonable distance to Mudgee and vineyards Looking forward to coming back

Sally and Richard's land is simply stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our time camping at Old Bara and will return in the future. Sally was a lovely host and super quick to orientate us to their land and our camp site. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Perfect location for weekend getaway. Got lucky with a new moon and the stars were beautiful. Great dirt tracks for quad bike riding 👍

Ground was nice and level. Large sites with great privacy (would suit large groups). Fire pit was handy (byo firewood). Toilets were clean/well maintained. A great spot for day drives to surrounding towns and vineyards.

Very well organised and run by friendly hosts. Good toilets serviced regularly, wildlife including wombats were a hit with the grand kids. Easy access by most vehicles and RV.

For a long weekend, definitely has spaced out sites and were not on top of each other. Peaceful with no traffic noise. Well organised with a proper check in, with an escort to camp site. Nice freshly mowed sites. Toilets clean. It was a shame there wasn't much water in the creek but the dogs still got to have a little swim. Lots of wildlife but beware, the foxes stole 2 dog bowls (and potentially a leather collar, they like leather apparently) Awesome views, definitely ask Richard about the picnic table walk. A great 4km walk round trip. We went for a walk to the picnic table lookout and it was such a nice view. Definitely be back!

The property is stunning, run by a friendly family who were faultless in how it's all run! Campsites perfectly spread out, toilets better than those on the highway! We will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at “Old Bara”. From the moment of arrival we were greeted with Sally & Richard’s warm hospitality which extended throughout the property with clear signage, freshly mowed campsites and well maintained facilities (.ie drop toilets complete with air fresheners, wash basins, liquid soap and paper hand towels). Our campsite - Creek Flat 3 - was a stunning location with a beautiful outlook over the creek and mountain view. It was very peaceful sometimes hearing the cows in the distance at night. So glad we took Richard’s advice to visit the picnic table look-out. The view was amazing, as was the tourist guide for Mudgee & the surrounding areas handed to us by Sally. We explored Gulgong, hiked ‘The Drip’ at Ulan, visited Mudgee and enjoyed lunch at a winery. So much to do and see but be prepared to drive and get your car dirty on unsealed roads (which wasn’t an issue for us as the rewards were worth it☺️)

Warmest welcome! These guys went above and beyond to ensure that we had a lovely stay, gave excellent recommendations, were so kind and easygoing and the camp-site and facilities were perfect. Absolutely recommend a stay in Baradise!

Great experience, we stayed at a site called rabbit 2 which was nice and tucked away and high up so it had very nice views, nice little stores not to far out from the camp, lovely reception and staff who always have a smile, the toilets were good and very clean, definitely coming back again.

Ticked all our boxes when booking. - dog friendly - separate sites with plenty of room - close to water - cleanest loos ever. - able to have a fire Add to that diverse birdlife, awesome outlook where ever you look, cool clear night sky's, warm days.

We had a fantastic time camping at Bara, definitely one of the best Hipcamps we’ve been to. Sites are really well spaced out and are unobtrusive to the surrounds. A very quiet and peaceful setting, with an added bonus of awesome drop toilets. We will definitely return to this hipcamp.
