On property, part of the Great Dividing Range, are many bush walks through beautiful native bush land which is home to many native animals & birdlife. Extra beautiful following rain when the creeks and cascades are flowing.
Within short distances you can also visit quaint towns, Gulgong, Mudgee, Rylstone & Kandos who offer many & varied experiences. Mudgee area is also wine country, offering many tasting experiences as well as world class restaurants.
There are also many natural attractions such as The Drip close by.
Catering to the horse riding community is a specialty, through electric fence paddocks & a full size round yard to accommodate your exploring furry friends. Suggested quiet road rides through the wine growing district of the areas are close by & accessible after a short float ride.
There are many camping sites available ranging from group areas, for club set-ups to secluded camp sites located within the bushed areas. A centralised area flushing toilet and a caravan equipped with essentials such as barbecue, tea & coffee making facilities and small fridge is available to all campers but for campers taking advantage of the secluded sites, a portable toilet would be advantageous to bring considering distance from provided site.
Dogs are very welcome as they are very much our fur-kids.
For longer stays, laundry facilities & showers are available by arrangement.

Our camp site suits self-contained guests who have everything they need and leave no footprint on departure. You may need to share the camp ground with our friendly sheep (and cute baby lambs), therefore dogs are not ideal, however may be considered on a case by case basis.
Some firewood is available however please refer to the local RFS guidelines at the time of your stay to ensure you are allowed to have a fire.
The campground is available for one set of campers at a time however if you are part of a group we will accept bookings for up to four vans. Please select the site and just add the extra adults to the booking.

The sites are self-service with no amenities currently available, so best suited to those happy to be self-sufficient and with a 'leave no trace' approach.
All sites offer bushwalking options (maps can be provided via email), an abundance of native flora and fauna including wild birds, the occasional echidna and wombats.
You'll also find sheep and cattle meandering around the paddocks, along with our horses and free ranging peacock. We also have a super friendly kelpie and dachshund pup making the farm feel complete.
Dogs are welcome & we have stables or individual paddocks available if you'd like to bring your equine friends (no riding on the property due to insurance).
Only 15 minutes to the centre of town & is a great base for your visit to Dubbo.

We have great loos, voted as "the best in Australia" however, we do not have showers or powered sites.
Many sites available, avoid the crowds, we do not over crowd our campers. Only 25 mins easy drive (including 9kms of dirt road) to all the wonderful Mudgee wineries, cafes and restaurants. It's the perfect place to unwind and recharge the batteries.
We have limited phone coverage across the property for Telstra and Optus.

Pretty dry at this time and a 45 degree day did not help. Site is large and cannot hear your Neighbour’s generator running. Good short walk along the river, but could only do this early in the morning as it was too hot

Beautiful spot, we will be back again. The host were incredible. They welcomed us to their farm at the beginning of our stay. But then we didn’t really see them for the rest of it. Location was secluded and beautiful.

We loved our time at Dunollie Ridge. We expected to find that the previous reviews were over-the-top; Nope, they were not! It's proximity to Mudgee and Gulgong are an additional draw-card if that is what you want, though far enough away to absolutely guarantee that feeling of just being away from civilisation!
Given that the whole area is currently experiencing a mini drought this did not reduce our genuine love of this place, thank you Adam.

Matt and Leanne were great hosts with very good information about where to go to find your site, price was excellent at $15pp. What more could you want sitting right beside a creek, cows chewing on the grass next door and at dusk you have cockatoos doing zoomies in the trees. Clean site, not far out of town and the night sky was full of stars. Keep up the good work, travelers need set ups like this. 💯

Very private, safe and quiet property, just outside Dubbo town centre. Excellent spot to base yourself for a walk around town, exploring the Goal, and the zoo! Both of which are excellent.
Site 1 is the biggest for large set ups, but we managed site 2 well with our NPS truck and 19’6” van.
Great of you are taring with dogs.

I had a great night camping at Matt and Leanne's land. It was a cleared flat spot above a river that was partially flowing in early January '26. Matt sent me all the information I needed to get there within an hour of booking as it was a last minute decision to stop there. When I arrived there was a bit of confusion as to where I needed to camp but Matt was quickly available to talk to via mobile (I had reception there even on vodaphone). He was able to give me some directions and information re the weather as there was a bit of a mild storm moving through - shortlived thankfully, so I was able to set up and cook a meal, have a short walk down to the river, and have a quiet and safe night's sleep.
I am really grateful to folks like Matt and Leanne who make their land available to campers. For a small fee the land is clean, safe and other campers respect each others privacy.
I recommend Cadagi as a great place to stop whether for a night or longer and will stay again if I am ever needing a place to stay near Dubbo!

We had the best 5 days. Sites are big and the river provided us heaps of fun during the day with the kids and the dogs. This was one of the best camp trips I have been on. And the hosts were amazing and super receptive with any concerns or questions we had. The kids rated it 100/10
