Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Narran is an easy to access serene patch of paradise. Narran is right off the golden highway, with a 500 meter drive to reach the glowing Talbragar river. We have a lush grassed camping area overlooking the water, with two historic sites within walking distance and optional guided 4wd tour available. The 360 views of the night sky is like nothing you will see in the city.Set up camp quickly by the riverside. Chuck in a line or have a splash in the river. Early morning walks to explore an owl sanctuary and listen to the birds. Stay up late to trek to a magnificent open sky to watch the the heavens for as long as you like! No need to have any other camper interaction with plenty of open space to set up camp. Explore the site of one of the first homesteads in the region which for one night was a make shift cell for Australia’s only Chinese Bushranger
