SELF CONTAINED CAMPERS ONLY To keep our valley pristine, all campers must be fully self-contained. This means having your own toilet, water supply, and taking all waste with you when you leave. This is non-negotiable to maintain the site's natural beauty. PETS are welcome provided they are good with other dogs and livestock. FLOOD WARNING The property is located on river frontage, it may be subject to flooding during heavy rain. Please check with us 3 days before arrival to confirm current conditions. In case of flooding, a full refund will be issued, or an alternate campsite on higher ground may be available. While the photos showcase the stunning blue waters, please note that the water’s appearance may change after heavy rain. You are welcome to enjoy campfires, provided there are no local restrictions. Firewood is available for purchase onsite. Plenty of space is available for caravans, camper trailers, and tents. The sites are 4WD only due to water crossings and challenging road conditions after heavy rain. PRIMITIVE CAMPING We do not have on-site amenities. Please bring all necessary supplies, including a camp toilet. It is essential to maintain the cleanliness of the site, NO DIGGING HOLES and all waste must be removed upon departure. We have a collection point for cans + bottles. Please note that there is no phone reception. If you require internet access, WiFi is available by the main cottage. All of our sites are secluded as our property is large, we invite you to our peaceful piece of countryside for a self contained camping trip with all the convenience of town just minutes away. Cameron's Falls is a historic site, the 'falls', really just gentle rapids, are the original river crossing site for horse drawn vehicles to travel from Port Macquarie/Wauchope inland to Beechwood and beyond. Today we are a hobby farm with cows, horses - we invite you to say hello, but please don't feed any of the animals. If we are here to greet you on arrival you can fill up with potable rain water at our cottage. The Hastings is still tidal at our place so the access and flow varies throughout the day - we generally take our littlest kids down at low tide. Swim, fish or explore our hiking trails though the old growth riparian vegetation along winding creeks. If you are into birds you will see plenty here - in the last 12 months we have counted nearly 100 different species on our property!

Beautiful undulating bush block with a lovely dam for swimming. The property offers about 10 acres of cleared and reasonably flat land to choose your campsite. Dogs are welcome under supervision. All guests need to be completely self contained. You will need to have your own toilet and shower facilities. As Caravans and RVs are unable to access the road further west, this is a great place to set up a base camp for day trips. Just 5 kms from Macleay river which is ideal for canoeing, fishing, swimming, etc. 10 kms east of the lovely area of Nulla Ck (home of Slim Dusty) and the historic village of Bellbrook that has a quaint old Pub that serves delicious food and has great views of the river. Past Bellbrook there is Blackbird Flat,(canoeing), Georges Ck Junction, and Wollomombi Falls, just to name a few.

Cut firewood for sale or you can gather your own. Your dog is welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times and in your control. A really beautiful part of the world. It’s quiet, next to a deep creek that runs adjacent to the river. The kids had a great time exploring the area, meeting the dogs Astro and Buddy, as well as the horses.

Lovely peaceful spot, removed from town traffic and full of native birdlife. Large site with complete privacy. Firepit provided. Overlooks the river, but access to the river is limited to your ability to scramble down a steep, bushy river bank. Our Rhodesian Ridgeback loved the freedom of wandering around the site and was curious, but intimidated by the beautiful cattle that grazed our way from time to time.

Vallis Oakes is raw and absolutely stunning. The swimming is next level, fresh, clean, untouched water that will not dissapoint..Our host Sammy went out of his way to make sure our stay was everything we hoped for..Absolutely recommend to anybody that needs to escape the normal and reset.
