Great place, Chrissie was super friendly & welcoming. All the amenities you could ask for! Only downside was the other group of 4 staying there, when they came back from their day trip, they seemed unhappy we were there, and immediately came into the kitchen area, checking their belongings. This we thought was reasonable, up until they kept coming in and out of the kitchen whilst we were cooking, making things around us, and purposely getting in the way. Very odd people. Eventually I said, “please allow us to cook, then you’re more than welcome to the kitchen, we don’t intend on being here long”. They again, all individually came back for different things. Very rude people, which tarnished our stay slightly. As soon as we got into our van, they sat themselves around the campfire we made. You’d think they owned the place lol. Other than this, fantastic stay! Thank you :)

What a magical spot on the river. What a fabulous view of the river and farmland. The kids loved watching the cows in the paddock along the drive a great spot to fish relax and spent time with the family Just a small drive away from south west rocks, hat head and Gladstone finding great little coffee spots along the way. What a awesome place! Helen was so friendly and welcoming, firewood was dropped at the fire bin. Road noise but its not loud as its on the other side of the river. Caught a few fish! Honestly enjoyed the whole time, so close to other towns and beaches.

This was a great site which had all we needed for a wonderful stay. The kitchenette area and shower and toilet made the camping very comfortable and was an added bonus. My dog absolutely loved the space which was private and lush. Our hosts were wonderful people as well. Will hope to camp again there.

Great little spot. We got Nook1 which is close to shower (cold but lovely after a hot day at the beach) and toilets, Plenty of room to accommodate 3-4 vehicles and flat pretty level site. Fire pits are supplied and some firewood but bring your own if you can. Lansdowne SF is just on other side of highway if you need any. Directions to campsites easy to follow, no drama getting to them. Can take an AWD there IMHO but would be hard after heavy rain. Amenities basic but very usable. Close to shops, fishing, pub, swimming, wild life (we had a koala right behind our camp), beach and Bowling club. Just be aware of bullants. Definitely worth a look in!

Secluded Racecourse Beach is a short drive south of Crescent Head on the mid-north coast of NSW. We have a beautiful 11 acres of coastal land where you can hear the waves as you sleep with the pristine Racecourse Beach only a 5 to 10 minute walk away. We are not directly on the beach and do not have beach access. Racecourse Beach is a great spot for surfing, fishing and swimming. All you need to do is find one of our intimate sites for you to pitch a tent or pull up with the camper van. THERE ARE NO AMENITIES SO YOU MUST BE FULLY SELF CONTAINED AND LEAVE NO TRACE. Fires are allowed, but must be contained in an off ground fire pit brought by camper. Heartwood Farm is a centrally located 120 acres on the Mid-North Coast - about halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, only 1.5 kms off Pacific Highway, 25 mins to Port Macquarie, 15 Mins to Kempsey, 30 minutes to Crescent Head and 45 mins to South West Rocks. We are off grid and live close to nature and enjoy the abundance that provides. We have been building and developing for the last few years. We are still a work in progress. There are three Brumbies that live over the fence and 5 other horses that will no doubt come and say hello. They are all friendly, especially if you have a carrot. There are also a lot of kangaroos and wallabies, some quite friendly as they have been raised by our neighbour who does animal rescue. There are also a lot of different species of birds, including the much-loved Black Cockatoos which are in abundance here. We have also seen turtles, frilled neck lizards, diamond pythons, red belly black snakes (rarely) and goannas.

Our property is located 45 minutes west of Port Macquarie and 20 mins from Wauchope. Located on the edge of the small community of Long Flat. Mountainview offers approximately 15 acres/700mts of riverside van sites which cater only to self-contained vans. Public toilets are within easy walking distance in the local township of Long Flat where you will also find a great pub and general store to resupply (1 km from property entrance). The property features a gated entrance and graveled road for your convenience and safety. We have 13 designated van sites available with plenty of space for privacy. If you are booking with others, please let us know so we can site you together. We are unable to accommodate tent sites. The river is a perfect spot to swim, kayak or fish with plenty of wildlife around to see, river shoes are advised for your comfort. The river can sometimes be swollen and fast flowing. Please watch children at all times. Camping fires are only allowed outside of fire restrictions. Fires must be in a proper container / bucket. Please leave site clear. If you forage for wood please clear site of whats left before leaving This property is pet friendly though we do ask that owners leash and clean up after their fur babies. Dump points are located at Wauchope and Port Macquarie. We ask that all rubbish is taken with you upon leaving. Please be mindful that we do have neighbours and we ask that you be respectful and keep all noise to a minimum after 11pm and before 6am. Dogs - We are happy for you to bring your fury friends (as long as they are supervised, dog and child friendly, well behaved and non destructive in nature) Please keep them out of the vegie gardens!! Please be mindful that the fencing is not dog safe and the property is surrounded by National Parks and Wildlife. Children - Please be mindful that although the dam is gated and fenced, it is not child proof fencing! Power - Each site comes with 240 volt 10 amp power supplied.
