If you want to avoid the crowds our property is only 10 minutes drive to great local surf and fishing beaches at Crescent Head. There is an abundance of bird life, the odd kangaroos and wallabies, and other wildlife. There is a melaleuca forest that children are welcome to play in and build a cubby house, and 2 pretty little dams to catch yabbies, and for dogs to enjoy a swim. The property where camping is provided is approx 20 acres with a limit of 10 groups so you can find your own little piece of paradise. There is plenty of fire wood for you to collect on the property on your way in. Please help yourself to any fallen timber for firewood but please do not cut any standing trees down. When checking out, ensure you properly extinguish fires and return any unused firewood to the bush. Dogs are welcome to be here off leash as long as they are well socialised and reasonably obedient. There is large areas for them to run freely and dams to swim in. It is accessible via a 2WD dirt road, even with a little wet weather. If rainfall is extreme we recommend 4wd's. The property is completely off grid so we have a 'leave it as you found it' approach. This means you will need a camp toilet, and to take all of your rubbish with you. What a beautiful place!!! We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to go back! Rick and Cheryl’s place is so warm and welcoming, nothing is a bother! The river is clear and beautiful, the hospitality is amazing, feeding the animals was an absolute highlight for our little city kids! It was a struggle to get the kids out of the place! The sites are so big and the is plenty of shade along the river. Toilets were super clean and well Maintained. I honestly could rave about the place for days. Book a stay is my advice!

We had a great time with our family at Wild Hope Farm - it was lovely and peaceful. Nearby Queen's lake is great to explore and just a short drive to beautiful Grant's Beach, which wasn't too busy despite the time of year. The host family was lovely, our kids had a great time meeting them all. Very close to both Bonny Hills and North Haven and all directions given were accurate and easy to find. Would easily stay again!

Didn’t have time to do the farm tour, but just setting up metres away from the river was enough. short walk or drive to the river access point, communal kayaks and boogie boards were an amazing touch. Would definitely recommend to anyone it’s a beautiful spot the hosts Rick and Cheryl are soo lovely and friendly and welcoming they take very good care of the area their daughter comes down every arvo with fresh baked cakes and cookies to buy which are very yummy the kids loved going up to their place to feed the animals and and we had soo much fun swimming there the water is soo nice we spent a lot of time just floating around on our floaties can’t wait to go back there dog friendly very relaxed and only about a 20 min drive into Port Macquarie If you need to get anything

What an amazing camp site. The sites are large, there are a few powered sites but mostly unpowered. Cheryl and Rick were fantastic hosts. The river is stunning and they provide plenty of kayaks free of charge for you to use. The drop toilets are in impeccable condition. They provide farm tours for the kids to pat and feed animals, and their daughter sells fresh baked treats every afternoon to curb the sweet cravings. The camp site is only 30 minutes from Port Macquarie so very accessible. We will definately be back.

Katie's campsite was very clean and quiet, had a beautiful view, and Katie and her husband were very hospitable and friendly. They also had two dogs who were very kind, calm, and friendly, and gave us a lot of love. Most importantly, the toilet and shower were impeccably clean and great, and we really enjoyed our time there. Thanks to Katie and her husband!

This farm was just beautiful! Cheryl and Rick were so friendly, and were happy to just chat 😊 The kids got to feed the farm animals, which they loved. Drop toilets were clean and there was filtered water straight from the river. The campsites were maintained and site numbers easily visible. There are kayaks and body boards avaliable for use on the river. We cant wait to return 😊😊

We loved our stay at Wild Hope Farm! Spacious, scenic, quiet and very private. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Easily accessible with lots of flat ground. 5 minutes drive to beaches, restaurants and all your restocking needs. Jordi was highly responsive and welcoming - we definitely recommend a stay here when visiting the beautiful surrounds of the mid north coast.

Loved the peace and quiet by the river, good clean amenities. Fresh baked goods that came around in the afternoon were delicious. Rick and Cheryl were lovely, very helpful with making your stay enjoyable.
