We are farmers, living the dream on 500 acres in beautiful Bellingen. Our farm is called Levenvale Farm. You will feel a million miles away, yet we are only 7mins into the town of Bellingen. We run an organic cattle property and have found a few spots around our farm to share with campers and glampers. Our campsites are "Beyond the Bridge" and "Old Flat Camp". Both are on cattle paddocks and have private access to Hydes Creek. Hydes Creek is a murky sandy base creek. There's lots of logs so its not recommend to jump in, but it's beautiful to cool off in the creek on a hot day. Both campsites have access to our compost toilet, and open air outdoor camping shower (gas hot water). If you prefer a bit more comfort or don't have your own camping gear, you can escape the hustle and enjoy being perched up on one of the highest points on the farm (with incredible views), in our Farm Huts. Both the Hut and the Tent are furnished with beds and linen but have no power. Both share access to a Drop Loo and a compost toilet, with gas hot water shower (in our very rustic Horse Float ensuite). At all our sites, we welcome you to have a small fire, and cook up a BBQ. Our Farm Shop is open 24/7 to self serve and grab some organic beef sausages or steaks. Reach out if you want us to have them defrosted for your arrival. Animals include wallabies, goannas, deer and fish as well as cattle and stock horses. Fishing is okay but it is STRICTLY catch and release ONLY. There are many places to go bushwalking, either following the river or heading up the valleys or hiking up the hills through the trees. The property is just 10kms from the convenience of Bowraville, a historic township with a supermarket, folk museum, a war museum, a historic theatre, and other historic buildings. Nambucca Heads and the beautiful surrounding beaches are just 27kms east and Coffs Harbour 80kms away. Please note this is a working farm, so there will be cattle and stock horses on the property that may approach your campsite.

HISTORY This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land. In the 1800's, white men came seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to grow out too. About 35 years ago about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of this top end of the valley that you see today. Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over. You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though - they have spikes that could puncture Caterpillar tracks!) MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan. Today the property is registered with Land For Wildlife and hosts a very wide mix of native vegetation communities. ACTIVITIES Bird watch. Climb. Abseil. Photograph wildflowers. Paint. Swim. The Camp under the Majestic Trees is shaded from the west sun. Easy access with beautiful views. The camp spot is private and close to the oldest and biggest trees on the property. Note: There is no toilet currently at this site so all campers, please bring own portable toilet. Kingfisher Camp Site This spot is more suited for caravans or motorhomes. There is limited shade in the hotter months. It's private, has beautiful views of the dam and the eastern side of the property. Close to walking trails. Please be advised this site is not suitable for party goers, and we request lights off and quiet from 10pm. We are located a short drive to the village of Nana Glen, the property is conveniently situated only a 20 minute drive to the renowned surfing beaches and cafes of Emerald Beach, and the family-friendly estuary reserve and shopping plaza of Moonee Beach, both true gems of the Coffs Coast. They must be controlled as sheep are nearby and we have an abundance of wildlife. We have a slackline, a rope swing and badmitten for anyone looking to include more play in their stay! Responsible campfires are permitted in the metal fire pits in designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Firewood can be purchased for $15 P bag Full Mobile reception for Telstra and Optus although we encourage you to minimise screen time during your stay and immerse yourself in the off-grid lifestyle 😉. The road in is also suitable for a 2WD but more comfortable in a 4WD. Drinking water is provided. Please bring your own water for cooking and washing up. There are a few walking tracks throughout the property for those who like to take short walks and for longer bushwalking adventures, Two Mile Crossing is bordered by the Fortis Creek National Park where there a plentiful tracks for those who love to explore the bush. We are only 20 mins drive from the 'mighty' Clarence River which is great for swimming, canoeing and fishing and we are also only 25 mins from Grafton central which has shops, cinemas and places to eat. Just recently we have added two gorgeous piglets to our family who love to hang out with us and the chickens. Come and help us feed every afternoon. .
