Lovely tranquil spot. We camped on a beautiful, level grassed spot. Lots of room. Very friendly and helpful host. Good amenities. We only stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer and explore the property. The best way to / from the highway is via Boggy Creek Road, it's much faster than the directions provided.

We stayed at Barrachi Camp with a mate and honestly had the best time. It was the perfect little escape from Byron — so peaceful, private, and beautifully tucked away on the farm. Peter and Tania have created something really special there, a cosy cabin that feels completely nestled in nature while still being super comfortable. We loved the quiet, the privacy, and just slowing down for a couple of days. We’ll definitely be back, and next time we’ll bring more friends to share this gem. Highly recommend if you’re after a proper reset.

Local pub with sports bar, great restaurant and luckily for us some live entertainment. Short walk to the creek and swimming area where you can spot a platypus Win win Absolutely loved it there!

A wonderful Place to stay, view are spectacular local people are friendly. Camp grounds are well maintained with clean toilets and showers and a large open undercover kitchen. The owners are friendly and happy to assist. The town is a short walk where you'll find the convience store, flutterbys Cafe with a maze of small shops inside. The pub has a swimming pool and great dinning specials. Not to forget the Gelato shop next to the community hall. This is open weekends and is the best Gelato, and has great prices.👌

We really enjoyed our stay at Vili’s beautiful property. The location is quiet and relaxing, with beautiful views and surrounded by national parks. Vili was a fantastic host, very welcoming and helpful, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The amenities were excellent, very clean showers and toilets, and even a sauna! A perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy nature and unwind. Highly recommended.

We camped at the platypus Island site. Was quiet, spacious and has the most beautiful sunsets. Although, the shower isn't private (you need to wear swimmers in the shower) But if you dont mind i highly recommend this beautiful property.
