Road access to site is suitable for 2WD in dry weather. It is a short, steep drop with two tight corners not suitable for large caravans and RVs. The site has a newly constructed long drop toilet, pets are allowed and bring your own firewood to ensure you have enough as it's becoming scarce around the site. Please take all rubbish with you. Please note: Kids under 12 are free to support young families wanting to experience the bush. Please still add them to the booking as they will not be charged. Brazenhead is a 15 minute drive to the closest shops, 20 minutes into Bathurst, 30 minutes from Sofala and 1 hour from the historic Hill End. The campsite is 2WD accessible with plenty of room and flat space to camp on. Not far from our property you can find the Bridle Track, which is very well known by 4WD enthusiasts. It was originally built as the first road between Bathurst and Hill End during the gold rush era, and was given its name due to horsemen having to dismount and guide their horses by the bridle through the very narrow sections. If you visit in November you may be here for the annual Marmalade Festival, with good weather, musicians, stalls and of course jams and marmalades! No pets please.

Dairy Park is a working farm on the Central Tablelands of NSW. We farm sheep and cattle, and on the property, you'll find kangaroos, wombats, lots of birdlife and wide-open space.Our campsite is very private next to the seasonal 'Thumbies Creek'. Our family has been here since the early 1820s. A great family-friendly campsite for those seeking a bush experience. Drinking water available but nothing else, no amenities, so you must have everything you need and leave no trace. 2WD most of the year unless rain, then need 4WD. Pets not permitted. Campfires permitted in a designated area only when restrictions aren't in place. Plenty of firewood around to gather fallen timber.All campers have the opportunity to join in our animal feeding every afternoon at 4pm, we'll take you along with us as we feed the chooks, working dogs, pody lambs and whatever else is happening on the farm! Mobile phone reception on the property is available through Optus and Telstra.

This Homestead is set on 22 acres, just a short drive from the home of the Black Stump at Weetaliba, NSW. Camping under the stars is a must here as you are able to star-gaze at Australia's first Dark Sky Park. The homestead has 3 separate paddocks each with their own dam where you can have total privacy during your camp. Although you may have a visit from the resident sheep who graze the pastures (don't worry - they are friendly). A perfect place for bird watching an array of native birds including rosellas, cockatoos, and currawongs and you will hear the kookaburras every morning and evening. There are also kangaroos, wallabies and echidnas who roam the area. It's a beautiful place to snap a pic especially if you catch the morning sunrises and spectacular sunsets which are guaranteed to wow you. Do as little or as much as you want to on your stay. A perfect place to just unwind and take in the fresh country air and beautiful views. Stroll around the property and visit the old barn and some of the sheds and farming equipment that are scattered among the paddocks. You will have access to composting toilets or feel free to BYO facilities. Campfires are welcome in the pits provided, permitting there are no restrictions at the time of your visit. Dogs are welcomed as long as they are supervised and kept indoors at night. Being within 20 minutes to the local town of Coolah, it's a perfect stop over for an overnight stay or for a long weekend. You can easily duck into town to stock up on supplies or visit a good old country pub for a meal. We look forward to meeting you.

We run a sheep farm on our property located north east of Dubbo. This is the land of big sky country. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular here along with starry nights, beside the campfire especially when the full moon arrives. It is nothing short of amazing as you marvel at the sights from the verandah of The Tiny Home or from your campsite. Not far from our property you’ll find the Goonoo CCA Zone 1 National Park. CCA Zone parks are Community Conservation Areas reserved as national parks. The greater Dubbo region offers many activities for tourists, adventure seekers and nature lovers. The Tiny House is fully self-contained with a fold out double bed and a little kitchenette featuring a fridge, cookware and utensils and a BBQ. The bathroom/laundry are separate. We also offer a campsite for additional family members or friends. You're welcome to go for a swim in the dam which is a short walk away, or take a stroll to the top of the rocky hill to see 360 degree views. Meet the locals (emus) or see the sheep being shorn if your booking coincides at the same time. Pets are by special request only.

Ellismayne is located out of Dunedoo along the Golden Highway towards the regional city of Dubbo. This picturesque spot offers complete freedom to explore our unique rural landscape. "Who doesn't love being in Nature!" Ideally situated just off the Golden Highway, approximately an hour to Western Plains Zoo, the beautiful wine and food destination of Mudgee or amazing Coonabarabran National Park and observatory. This is the perfect spot for secluded and scenic views with Aussie wildlife just outside. Our place is perfect for the no trace camper who wants to get away from it all and experience the bush life. The perfect spot to leave your van and explore around our magnificent country.  There is access to a toilet but no shower or drinking water. Lots of free activities within Dunedoo, such as the Woodlands and our painted Silo. We have cattle on our land.  Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.

A beautiful grassy site to camp under the shade of an enormous pine tree. We especially loved walking through the orchards and the easy access to local wineries. The bathroom & laundry facilities were adequate with great water pressure in the shower. We would stay again.

Damien & Tammie were very welcoming and friendly and happy to have a chat about the history of there property. We had an awesome time at Hatton Airstrip. After a down hill drive to get to the river we were so happy with the beautiful setting. Green grass, flat, right next to the beautiful river and plenty of room as the sites are spread out. Perfect for big group bookings or single/couple bookings. We had Lama's and horses roaming around us also. Peaceful and just perfect. Getting back out was a fun challenge and definately 4wd is a must. We towed our 15' off road caravan and had no problems. Will definately recommend and will be back, 2 nights was not enough👌

Beautiful cleared safe and peaceful site. We stayed on site 1. Slashed walking track to creek. Our dog loved this walk and it was very cool under the trees by the creek for an Arvo drink after a long travel day. Huge site with a fire pit. Easy access for caravans. Flat site. No over hanging trees. Loved it 🫶

The deep spot is perfect for a dip or even throw in a kayak. Beautiful spot right by the river. Made friends with the horses, alpacas, spotted a deer on the other side, and two platypus in the morning. Beautiful country and a beautiful camp, plenty of fun and looking forward to another visit soon!

4 nights at Watton Airstrip

We had such a wonderful four days at Watton Airstrip that we decided to stay another four. Tammie and Damo were the most incredible hosts—nothing was ever too much trouble. The road in is definitely 4WD territory, so make sure you air down to around 25 at the check-in point. There are plenty of sites to choose from depending on the experience you’re after. We chose Rivers Edge for the seclusion, and it delivered beautifully. In hindsight, we probably would have enjoyed The Rapids even more as it’s right at the end—but then we might have missed the platypus! Our favourite overall would have to be Hog Heaven, although the solar would have struggled there, and it’s close to Deep Spot, which seems to be popular (so a little less secluded). We were completely solo for four nights with no one around except the horses and llamas. We were lucky enough to see so many animals that others don’t always get the chance to—ducks, llamas, horses, a fox, deer, snake, platypus, emu, kangaroos, wallabies, and even cod in the river. All were a treat to see… although the fox was relentless at night trying to sniff out food! And yes, the flies were next-level—but hey, that’s camping. Phone service is not great, but we had Starlink, so no issues at all (especially handy with a uni assignment due). I was a little stressed thinking about towing the van back out, but Tammie and Damo gave such clear directions that it ended up being fine. I’m already planning the next visit!

Very quiet campsite, with toilet and shower facilities. We struggled to find a campsite in the Orange area with facilities that were not a caravan park or Showground. Field Days ticked our boxes, we had the place to our selves, it is close to the wineries and walking in Mt Canobolas. We Will be back.

Absolutely loved the camping at Camp Crudine. Beautiful spot right on the creek with enough water to dunk yourself (and the dog that fell off the kayak!). Entry is not for the faint hearted but worth every clenching moment on the way down the hill! Definitely gonna come back to this little hidden gem!
