On a bluff in Port Angeles is a replica of Mount Vernon, the personal home of America's first president, George Washington.
Melting into the view
I took the second cove in another private space. I was so comfortable, I could have enjoyed this view for the rest of the day.
Relax, unwind, enjoy.
The cloud cover limited our sunset and sunrise, but we still experienced beautiful colors as the sun descended.

This campsite sits right on the bank of the Bogachiel River. You can pitch a tent just about anywhere on this clearing and get a great view of the river.
Camp vibes. Enjoying the fire from inside my tent to get out of the rain.
Ruby Beach! This place was one of my favorite beaches in the area. This is a great place to be at sunset.
The bridge in the distance is the road heading out to La Push. Definitely make the short drive out there!
I spent couple hours hiking around and exploring the banks of this river. Whether you spend your downtime at the beach, in the forest, or on the river, this place is worth the trip.

Also, to get a better idea of the space. This is a "3 person" tent. The red tent in my other photos is a 2 person backpacking tent.
The logs make for great seating.
A wider shot of our tents (and morning stretch).
Another shot of the view from where you set up tents. This was a long exposure at night, on a cloudy and slightly smoky night. The lights on the blue are are cruise ships driving by.
90% of car camping (for me) is a quiet place to relax, have a drink or 2, and not be too distracted by anything else. Ravensong retreat was perfect for all of the above.
