A fun little campground! The sites are close to each and within view but there was no one there with us so we had it all to ourselves! The portable bathroom was very clean and there was extra water for cleaning dishes. It was a very beautiful location as well. We planned our Labor Day trip last minute when everything was already full so this campground was a perfect find!

We loved tent camping at Fern Hollow - we booked all three campsites for our group outing and it was amazing. Lots of space for outdoor games, loved the picnic tables and chairs, and it was so cute seeing the outdoor cats come in and out of the house hanging out on their ledges/steps. The port-a-potty was super clean - they service it weekly, the hand sanitizer was full, and they had a potable water container. Not many mosquitoes, but we did have a thermacell and bug spray. On a side note, a neighbors dog kind of woke us up with a little barking maybe around 8 am (not an issue if you wear ear plugs! and 8 isn't super early so it didn't bother us too much) but when we looked at their yard, it made our day because it was a dog playing with an alpaca, they were taking turns chasing each other and it was the most precious thing ever!

Beautiful site! We loved camping at Fern Hollow with our two pups and would happily stay again. Well-maintained, nice chairs and table, clean potty and appreciated the water! Melissa was very kind and proactive, and the space felt very safe and tucked into a quiet neighborhood. Fabulous for stargazing!

It was a very peaceful stay. Quiet with nice prairie grass around us and open sky for views of the hills. Low traffic on the road so it was nice to bike ride on it. Also nice that we could bike from site about 1 mile down the road to miles of MTB trails.

This campsite was very peaceful. I am clean and there were camp chairs and fire pits available. Unfortunately, we couldn't have a fire due to the fire ban, which obviously is not the host's fault. There was also a porta potty, available and water. porta potty was super clean

It was our first time tent camping, and Meliss/ backyard made for a very lovely experience! It was well kept and beautiful. The description and pictures were very true, and the porta potty was the absolute cleanest toilet I’ve ever seen. There were three campsites that shared the space - and a porta potty, some potable water and a thrash bin. It was a sufficient, relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Slept in my car the night before The Big Hurt. Campsite was on the bike course, so I got an early preview of the climb. Campsite was clean and quiet and dark. Very peaceful. Perfect for car camping.

The site was great in a pinch! Unfortunately Google maps took me on a dirt road behind the house, and Apple Maps said it was further down the correct road than it actually was. Not optimal when arriving alone late at night. But once I found the house, the campsite was nice. They provided chairs, a fire pit, ports potties, and a water fill-up station.

Directions were clear, we were the only campers at that day so it was quiet. Bathroom was very clean and well serviced. Sites were clean. Shame there is a burn ban otherwise it would probably be amazing to use fire pit.
