Too rugged to ever be considered for farming or logging, the property has remained virtually untouched to this day since settlement and was owned by the Crown up until the 1960s, when the land was finally leased and subsequently sold to it's original owner. Until then local communities would use the elevated areas and escarpments for day trips and camping.
The current owners literally stumbled accross the property in 2018 whilst looking for a country escape where they could get away from an ever changing society. Little did they realise how much of a change would occur in 2020. On seeing the expansive views, steep cliffs, untouced landscape, Xanthorrhoea forrest and numerous sandstone caves they new they had found their little piece of paradise. Realising their closest neighbour was 1.5kms away was just icing on the cake, and in hindsight can smile in the knowledge that they have taken social distancing to a couple of extra decimal places.
So what do you do with 550 acres of mountainous pristine Australian bush? The only logical answer seemed to share it. So that is what we are doing. Hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
