You’ll discover 15 miles of pristine Lake Michigan shoreline, 45 miles of hiking trails for every skill level, and an abundance of solitude. Every season at Indiana Dunes offers up something special. In the spring it’s the wildflowers and wildlife, especially the plethora of birds that pass through on their way south. In the summer, you’ll be smitted with the sandy beaches for relaxing, warm water for swimming, and the most spectacular sunsets you can imagine. Fall brings an amazing and colorful display to the forest as the hardwoods change from vibrant green to red, orange, yellow, and brown.
