Farm and nature hideaway

Great spot. This was on a farm but also felt like a nature preserve. I saw turkeys, hawks and deer - in addition to the cows and horse. Really private and beautiful. The fire pit is great and the bath house is quite nice.

The only thing to note is that there isn't really hiking accessible from the property. There's a very pretty half mile stroll through the woods, which takes you to the neighbors.

That said, the campsite is private and has a great view at sunset. And Lindsey was incredibly responsive.

We would have loved to stay longer but the Kincaid Fire got too close for comfort. We were in constant contact with Lindsey who was very responsive and helpful. It is in a convenient location with wildlife and a vineyard nearby. The bath house is amazing and the property is charming and clean. Great wine country getaway!

The bathhouse was great, the firepit was clutch. For a night out of town it was really peaceful and serene! Can’t wait to see what the place looks like in the springtime.

Lindsey was gracious enough to allow us to pull up our RV for the night! We had a small 19' which made it down to their campsite. You camp overlooking this beautiful field. There's an electrical hookup and a non-potable water hookup if you'd like. They have a bathhouse which is GORGEOUS! I will definitely be back.

This was a great chance to have a private camping trip without having to “rough it” too much. The bath house is a great Amenity to have, and will be even better once the bathtub is installed.

perfect pandemically private spot. since it's on private propery, i didn't have to worry about any strangers invading my visual or physical space which is so necessary rn. i didn't get any wafts of the dairy nearby like another guest mentioned. loved the wildflowers. and the bathhouse is just epic. unfortunately during my may 2020 stay the trail was closed to protect endangered wildlife but i still had the best time. even though it was 88 degrees, there was a nice breeze the whole time and half the table is in shade by 3pm or so. and while this hipcamp feels very rural, it's also only 10 mins away from a couple small towns if you need anything and 20 mins away from bigger towns.

We had a great time here. We visited during a heatwave and there isn’t much shade so don’t forget to bring your own. I was trying to pack light and left ours at home. But as soon as the sun dipped we were fine and really enjoyed the bath tub overlooking the pastures watching the sunset and the moonrise.

Deborah’s property was beautiful, secluded, and just the perfect get away after months of sheltering-in-place.

Some highlights:
1. There was lots of wildlife—we saw several turkeys as we rounded the corner into the farm, and deer wandered through the meadow next to the site every evening before they bedded down.

2. While the property wasn’t within walking distance to any hiking trails we found, it is close to plenty, as well as being ~30min from some stellar swimming in Russian River.

3. You can’t beat the bath house. Or the tub.

Deborah was a great host, and although we never met in person, she was super attentive. I highly recommend this site, and I appreciate how social distancing was mentioned in the site description since we knew it’d be taken seriously.

It was a beautiful and calm location. We found it peaceful and relaxing. This is the best spot if you want to escape a quarantine-fashioned life! The bathroom was super comfortable and clean.
