Learn more about this land: We put in a gravel driveway in a quiet neighborhood. This spot is perfectly located two blocks from the Straits of Juan de Fuca, where bird watching, fishing, boating, swimming and sunsets are the norm. There are hiking trails and dairy and u-pick farms all around. It is located about 10 minutes to stores and Starbucks. Amenities are water, sewer and electricity. Olympic game farm is only a few minutes away. We have put 50, 30 and 20 amp plugs for electricity (220v, and 110v) We have put in a fire pit and we have wood for additional cost. It was okay
The good: Very close to town, hikes and the water. The neighbors were quiet. The not so good: We've stayed at close to 40 hipcamps and unfortunately this is the first one where we have mixed feelings about the spot. When we arrived it was pretty over grown, not really any place for the kids or the dog to play in the grass - only the very loose gravel pad. We had daily visits from the neighborhood dogs. 4 different dogs actually in our campspot. They pooped and peed on our outdoor rugs almost daily and left us feeling rather uncomfortable letting our kids outside without us being right there with them - just right in front of our camper. We didn't have any interaction with the host, she stopped by to clean up the Airbnb on site, but didn't converse with us at all. We would have appreciated a check-in and a little bit of info on the town or things to do, but that's not the end of the world. Finally, there was a pretty significant leak in the water hook up which left the entire spot flooded and soggy by the end of the stay. We did alert the host, but unfortunately never heard anything back from her. Overall I would say this an ok spot for an overnight, but maybe not anything longer. It definitely wasn't a terrible stay, but it wasn't great either.

The spot was perfect in every way. Easy to back into. Had all you need- hookups, picnic table, fire pit and wood. The neighborhood was quiet and close to all we wanted to do. Even visited by deer most morning. Would definitely stay again.

We loved staying at Harmony’s Retreat! This was our second stay. It’s a lovely spot in a great neighborhood to walk our dogs. Sunset viewing is just a couple of blocks away.
