Amazing stay on the lake, wow! Right down the street from Great Barrington and tons of great food. Countless great hikes within 20 minutes. The lake itself is pristine and perfect for swimming.
Kittatinny Mountainside
in Kittatinny Mountainside, New JerseyLush little piece of paradise!
We met up with some friends at this spot and had a great time! Even with some rain and clouds we kept ourselves busy at Swartswood Lake, Buck Hill Brewery, Stillwaterâs General Store, and several other cool little spots throughout the area.
Our hosts were perfect - there when you need them, very attentive and, best of all, super cool and friendly. Thanks for a great time S&J!
The massive pig and horse were a nice greeting as we came and went, kids would love it! Hosts were graciously tolerant of our dogs despite their behavior lol, I think they had the most fun.

in Greenbush Farm, VermontGreat glamping spot
Awesome site with lots of privacy and access to running water with a depth ranging from 1 inch to 4-5 feet, perfect for splashing around with the dog. Super close to Woodstock and lots of other places. Things were mostly up and running as of writing (7/3) despite the pandemic, everything was safe and certainly distant!
Pond Site

in Cornish Island by the Bay, MaineCanoe paradise
Canoe or kayak paradise. My girlfriend, dog, and I spent two great days hanging out in our canoe exploring and swimming around Cornish Island. It is a tidal area and the crystal clear water is about 12 inches deep all around the island at low tide. It is mostly freshwater around the island. Tons of cool places to explore in kayak or canoe.
Campsite was very comfortable with screened in area for cooking and eating, large fire pits, pit toilet, and plenty of firewood and water provided. There is also a sizable tent on the premises with cord inside. We brought an air mattress that fit inside the tent easily, so it was quite comfortable.
It was our first time so I was slightly nervous about directions, but Jim met me at the launch spot and sent me on my way with a map (easy to find) and even some delicious muffins from his wife. Highly recommend, we will return for sure.
