We had a great time during our stay here! The pond was great for canoeing, and we were treated to a chorus of frog calls in the evenings. There are some well-maintained hiking trails just down the road. Overall a great place to stay!
My girlfriends and I had a lovely overnight stay at Center Pond Site! Though close to a main road we felt as if we had our own little oasis. We were incredibly grateful for our host who stopped by to say hello and gifted us some fresh radishes and garlic scapes which I used to make a scrumptious pesto. Thanks again, I’m sure we’ll be back!
If you like back yard camping, this place is perfect. The site is a distance from the house, giving you a lot of space and privacy. The view is great! The outhouse is a custom made cute little house which is extremely clean... yes! i said cute and clean.
I’m torn here - because I want to give stellar reviews - but I also want to keep this beautiful site a secret!
This is a really special place. The hosts were friendly and accessible. It was meticulously clean and lovingly kept.
The only downsides were the traffic noise, but really, it was subtle. And reassuring actually, because I don’t like being way out in the wilderness. I’m only mentioning it in case other campers would be put off by it. Also, bring your own water. There’s no hookup (or electrical either), but it’s totally manageable. Just come prepared.
I can’t say enough good things about it!
I had a wonderful stay at the Center Pond Farm. It was easy to find and get to from Portland, ME and was nestled in a beautiful natural area. The hosts graciously offered us to borrow their canoe and kayak which we took up and had a wonderful sunset paddle.
Overall the site was great and had plenty of area to pitch our tent, set up a kitchen on their table and light a fire. Would highly recommend this site!
We had a great overnight at this site! The views were beautiful and it was nice to camp on soft grass. Levi was very welcoming and gave us directions as well as brought down paddles and life jackets so we could use the kayaks and canoe that were on site. We brought our own firewood but there was also lots of firewood available for campers to use which was a nice surprise. Thank you for a great stay!
The whole place has a lovely feel.
Picturesque fire pit, canoes, and chairs. Outhouse was a fun feature.
A short walk to the store at top of the road for water and fire wood was convenient.
Sound of birds and frogs and occasional jumping fish made the place feel much more remote.
