Nice place to get away from it all. Private and secluded and filled with the sounds of nature. Be watchful of poison Ivy and any of those other rash-inducing plants... they are plentiful but avoidable. Emanuel was a great host who will make the effort to ensure your stay is comfortable. I would visit this place again.
Parked my car near the entrance and hiked my way up to the campsite area. The sites were pretty private and separated by forest. Outhouse on the way up was clean and the sites was camping-ready when we arrived. Never made it up to the common area (in the pictures) and never met the host but my questions were answered promptly. The price was right and I wouldn't hesitate to visit again if that is what I was looking for. A plus if you have a four-wheel drive vehicle and can drive up to the sites. No cell service in the area but there is a great little country store and grille (Becky's) a short drive away.
Brought a small group and stayed in site #1. Making the plans was a breeze with Brian. Sufficient privacy, quiet (except for the sounds of nature), great view of night sky, awesome restroom facilities. Nothing negative to say about our stay here.
Awesome place with awesome hosts. The place was clean and well maintained with a nice creek running through it. Was able to experience a good amount of quiet time just sitting by the creek and reading. Dayla & Denae were very friendly and will do everything they can to ensure you have a nice visit.
A nice setup and quiet spot with a great view of the night sky. Sherry was very nice and genuinely interested in making my stay comfortable. A definite revisit for a quick relaxing getaway close to home.
