My husband and I stayed for two nights and n this tiny cabin. It was absolutely lovely. We had the place to ourself which was nice. We had a bonfire and enjoyed morning coffee in the deck. There is a really cool smoky mountain hike in Cosby that we would recommend. Loves this place and would recommend it.

Trego lake was really a beautiful place. It’s a lake property with a dock. The lake is perfect for canoeing or kayaking. Wouldn’t recommend a motor boat as there is a no wake zone off the property. We brought a blow up raft that worked pretty nice. There is electric and water hookup. There are neighbors on both sides that are blocked by trees so they weren't very visible. There is a concrete of that was really nice.
There is a cute little town called spooner with shops, a beautiful beach, and ice cream that made for a fun day visit. I would definitely recommend this place a d hope to come back some day!

Had an absolutely fabulous time this weekend at Big Trout Creek. Jolene the owner was amazing! The camp sites are in a beautiful valley between huge hills on both sides with a stream running along the edge. The sound of the creek and beautiful landscape was exactly what we needed this weekend. I LOVE this place and will be back!

Had a wonderful time this weekend at Mikko Kamp. We went with my brother who reserved the other site. The site was very nice and clean. Lush green forest surrounds the camp and there is a dock within walking distance. The beach nearby was very nice with crystal clean water. The two sites are relatively close so I’d recommend reserving with someone you know.When we got there Mike greeted us and gave us a short tour of the property then left. He is close by if you need anything. Ticks were a bit thick but otherwise it was perfect. Itasca was about 45 minutes away, highly recommend taking a trip out there. I’d highly recommend booking At Mikko Kamp, we will most likely be returning some day!

We spent last weekend up at Norske camp with our dogs and 4 kids and had an amazing time!! With quarantine in effect it was just what we needed to get away. We brought our 16ft ice house trailer which fot just fine. The location was perfect, far enough from the cities but not too far. The site was perfect, Chris welcomed us when we got there and showed us around the property. There were bundles of wood and fire starter provided so that we could get our fire rocking right away. Chris also provides bottles of drinking water and supplies to wash our dishes! There is a really neat outhouse stocked with pine shavings and even had a light on a sensor that turned in when the door opened. The property was decked out with Norwegian flags and lawn decor. It was just perfect! The Paul Bunyan trail is right at the edge of the property so we brought our roller blades and my son brought his skateboard. I’d definitely recommend this place, we will be back! Thanks Chris for a wonderful weekend!
