Past trips
River's Edge
in Molalla Ripple, OregonGreat swimming hole!
Farmer James is fantastic! He created a new campsite for us, introduced my kids to feeding the animals, maintains great campsites, and towed our trailer up the hill when our van didn't have enough torque to make it up the hill with the trailer in tow.
We were in the site farthest down the row (just after site 3). The river is just right for swimming. We spent hours playing in the water!
Site 4
in Clackamas River Farm, OregonReally easy and fun place to stay!
We stayed in site #4. Easy access for our tent trailer. The blackberries were fantastic, we ate our way around the field! The walk to the river is short. There isn't really a beach, but there are spaces for people to relax by the river. The river entry is shallow and easy for kids age 6 and up. The river is also not fast flowing at this point, so it's great for wading/playing/swimming.
The star gazing on was good.
Definitely will be back here.
Tip: Site's #2 & 3 have the morning shade for the longest period of time. Site #4 was wonderfully shaded in the afternoon when we arrived (around 2:30pm).
The field would be great for frisbee...
Beaver Pond Campsite
in Powder Creek Campground, OregonGreat place. My favorite find on hipcamp so far!
Site 2 - Klickitat Canyon Wine Tent Camping
in Klickitat Canyon Winery, WashingtonSaw the Milky Way!
Site 1 - Klickitat Canyon Wine Tent Camping
in Klickitat Canyon Winery, WashingtonWonderful beautiful place to camp! Will be back. Open and flowing oak savanna. Great for star gazing!
Site 3 - Klickitat Canyon Wine Tent Camping
in Klickitat Canyon Winery, WashingtonWe loved it! Great place, beautiful creek and trees, wonderful hosts!
Site 2 park adjacent, large trees.
in Nature Camp, Cabin and Farm, WashingtonMy son and I had a fabulous time at NatureCamp campsite #2. The pristine and beautiful creek makes this a great place to camp in the hot weather. We waded up and down the creek exploring and watching the water skippers dance. Itâs obvious that Valisha and Michael are passionate about this land and creating a special place for people to camp in a lovingly tended yet natural setting. The large cedar and Doug fir trees provide ample shade and peace but there is also enough open space to not feel hemmed in by the landscape. Weâre looking forward to repeat visits and to the continued additions to this place.
