The beaver pond with a variety of water fowl, friendly deer and resident elk herd are all part of the attractions and recreation. Niagara Creek/Pheasant Creek falls is a nearby hiking trail and there are deer and elk trails to explore all over the ranch. If you feel like venturing further, the beach is nearby in Pacific City.
Powder Creek Ranch is also a working farm with cows, pigs, 1 horse (Diamond), chickens and ducks. Sometimes we have piglets and calves at the barn to visit.

The vibe at Powder Creek Campsites
Places to see near Powder Creek Ranch
We loved it here. Brenda and her husband were extremely friendly, even giving us a little tour to see their farm animals. The area was quiet, beautiful, and our site was right next to a creek so you could hear the water from the tent. The other guests were friendly, the camp sites were generously large, and the outhouses were clean and maintenanced. The only reason that I didn't give a full thumbs up for site cleanliness is that there were piles of dog poop right in front of our tent that got stepped in at least three times. Really gross and frustrating. In my opinion did should not be allowed to run off leash unless the owners look really hard for dog piles at site clean up time. Nonetheless, we would visit again and highly recommend.
Our campsite was beautiful! We had the entire site to ourselves. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. Unfortunately, my wife was sick for our entire stay and was unable to take in the entirety of the scenery. Brenda brought a truck full of wood for the campfire and even checked on my wife as we were leaving. Their farm was full with horses, chickens, cows and even moose. I would highly recommend the stay!

Hi there, So glad you enjoyed the beauty of the Siuslaw forest, Powder Creek and the Ranch. I had to giggle at your comment about seeing a moose. It was actually elk as we don't have moose here, but I'm so happy you got to see one. We have a resident wild herd on the property. I hope you'll come back again and experience something new. Thanks for camping at Powder Creek Ranch! Brenda
The perfect experience and just what we were looking for. Bev and her family are welcoming and accommodating. Their animals are friendly and Bev welcomes pick for diner or breakfast if wanted. We camped on the property and felt we had plenty of privacy. The elk made a quick appearance then quickly ran off. The creek was pristine and the location was great for our Nestucca fishing plans. We are def coming back! Thanks Bev!
Simply wonderful. Such an idyllic space with both forest, creek and farm ready to explore. Friendly and informative hosts. We can't wait to come back again.

Thanks Andy!! So glad you and your family enjoyed the camping experience at Powder Creek Ranch. We'll look forward to seeing y'all again. Best regards, Brenda
Great spot! The campsites are spaced out enough so that even if it’s full, you don’t feel too cramped. Right next to the creek and very well maintained. The porta potty was a nice touch. We’ll definitely be back!

I love it their. I will definitely be going their again. Amazing view of the river and it was soooo peaceful. Thank you for giving me and my family the opportunity to camp at ur beautiful place.
We loved our stay Powder Creek Ranch.
There are many great hikes nearby and the coast is a scenic 30-minute drive away. The creek is not only a beautiful outlook while you sip your morning coffee but also provides a handy sound insulation from any nearby neighbors (which we didn't need). The campsites are all kept in great shape with firepits and picnic tables.
We will definitely be back!

This ended up being a great campsite for the weekend, and we did not want to leave! We were the only campers in a row of 4 sites, which was incredible. Had those sites been full, I don't think the experience would have been as nice camping right alongside others. Firewood is available by scavenging in nearby woods - or bring your own. Very laid back and easy going Hipcampers! We will be back, and keep fingers crossed for the privacy factor!

Brittany and family, thanks so much for coming to camp at Powder Creek. I'm glad you had a good, relaxing time and you got to visit with the critters. I really appreciate your feedback about the dog poo and I'm so sorry that was a problem. That's an embarrassment for us and a wake up call to provide poo bags for the campers. I do hope you'll come back to camp with us again, Best, Brenda
