WOW!
Words can not explain how great of an experience this was!
For a last minute booking, I sure struck gold. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcome at Milo Farms. We were greeted by the owner, who happily led us directly to our site ( it was dry, so our car could go down ) just down the big hill. Once we were there, we provided us with a large trash bin, and gave us a short tour of the property.
The property... it’s endless! Okay, it’s not truly endless, but there is more to explore than meets the eye. From their own buildings and surprises, to three miles worth of trails in the woods that surround! If you want an extra step into peace, locate the zen garden.
In addition to that, there’s an outhouse, animal cages ( goats mostly ! ) a giant pool ( you can use from 12-6 ) an art studio, hippie camper trail and more!
The camp site was clean, quaint and offered the perfect amount of privacy. Firewood is available to purchase if you want to take advantage.
If you forget anything while packing , don’t hesitate to ask as they keep extras of everything on hand.
Lastly, ask about the weekend getaways! There may be one being planned and you don’t even know it! During our stay, the owner invited us out in a 4 mile kayak trip down the river!
10/10 , can’t wait to go back.

I stayed at the campsite for one night! It was amazing my hosts Loni & Mike were very hospitable. Mike came and dropped off some dry wood for the night and walked me around the property. My campsite backed up to the farm pen. My dog was loving every second of it! The hiking trails were amazing as there were a bunch of songs all over the trails stating some history of the property! Mike, also stated all of his ideas for the future of the property...I don't want to spoil anything you're just gonna have to ask him yourself! I had so much fun I plan on going back very soon! This place is a hidden gem of KC if you want to get out of the city I highly recommend this property! It was sooooo great!!!!

I stayed at campsite two for my stay at Milo farm and it was wonderful! I went by myself for a couple of nights and had a wonderful relaxing experience. Mike and Loni were wonderful hosts and super accommodating!! The energy on the land there was awesome! Did some hiking in the area and on their land. Highly recommend camping here! Mike was awesome with delivery of fire wood and a tour of the property! Felt safe and private. Looking forward to going back sometime soon!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at MILO farm. Mike and Loni were fantastic hosts and made it an incredible experience for my son. Mike was kind enough to get my kiddo to feed the fish and even brought him a tortoise he found in the field. The donkey spent some time with us in our camp site, which was quite the highlight! If you enjoy fishing, we caught fish just about as quickly as we could get a line in the pond. The campsite felt secluded and private and was just a wonderful weekend getaway. This is definitely a repeat!

This place is an IDEAL place to stay to get away. From the beginning the hosts were very communicative on how to get there, what to expect, and even gave us emergency contact number in case they didn't answer their phones. We stayed on site #2 which was perfect for just the two of us. The entire property is beautiful and it was awesome to have our own little private hiking trails, picnic spots, and fishing ponds. This is exactly what we look for when we think of camping. The best part, when we were looking to cool off , we just jumped in the pool! If you're reading this review and debating on where to camp, just book this spot you will NOT regret it.

Loni Louise at Milo Sacred Farm was an incredible host! Not only did she keep me informed as the date of my stay approached, she also made preparations and sent guidance for my arrival when I arrived after dark. The directions were spot on and I found the farm with ease. I found my site and the location was beautiful, both at night during a full moon and the next morning.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Milo Farm -- it was far beyond our expectations. We stayed for 6 nights at Campsite #2. The best part of our experience was Loni and Mike's incredible hospitality and friendliness. They helped us out so much, in so many ways, and made us feel very welcome. We had been on the road for nearly a month at that point and stayed at many HipCamps, but they were by far the hosts that went above and beyond. The campsite itself is very private, which was great. And the mosquitos were not bad at all, which was really nice. One of the best parts of the property is the pool, which is open to campers 12-6pm! It was so refreshing. We also loved meeting all the animals, especially the donkey who is incredibly curious and funny and will come greet you. We didn't have a chance to explore many of the paths around the property, but just had a such a positive experience here and would definitely return in the future. Highly, highly recommended!
