We are surrounded by fields of farmland. "Quiet time" is difficult to put limits on because we have no control over when harvest for local crops needs to occur. Please be aware that farm machinery may be harvesting late into the night or start very early in the morning. For the summer of 2025 we have alfalfa in the surrounding fields. Local attractions include: Wild Horse Monument & Gingko Petrified Forest are about 15 miles west on I90. Several wineries within a 20 min drive, Moses Lake/Sand dunes 30-45 min drive east on I90 Leavenworth Bavarian Village 60-90 min depending on traffic

Interesting fact: Our homestead is located on the McConihe Flats. 1200 years ago the Sinkiuse Indians would meet on the McConihe Flats and trade. They would also collect things along the shore of the lake such, as duck eggs and reeds, which are still around today. We are conveniently located between Moses Lake and Ephrata Washington. Only 12 minutes from either town where you can find Walmart, other stores, and resturants for all your needs.

Terrible management. No rule or quiet time enforcement. Camping spaces crammed on top of one another, no privacy or peace. Lots of loud music at all hours. I asked our neighbors to keep it down at 3 am and the neighbor girl wanted me to come out of my tent so he could fight me... (!?) No on site ranger, camp host doesn't leave their site. Unbearably hot in the summer with very little shade. Rude people. Go somewhere else. We left a day early despite having paid in full. We'll never come back.

Beautiful camp grounds with sweeping views at sunset. The lake is a short walk from the sites. The water is warm and full of boaters, swimmers, and kayaks. BONUS: There's amazing jumping rocks spots about 5 miles down the road. The ranger was really helpful and directed us there. Highly recommend!
