Birdy was unique and fun! The property/views are so pretty, the bus is right next to a cute little pond, and there are two very sweet dogs. Hope to come back!

This was a great little camping spot. 15 minutes from Ellensburg. A nice heated indoor common room with an amazing shower! And the animals were super friendly. Would absolutely camp here again!

The lean-to was a perfect shelter from the wind! Great spot to was the sunrise over the various fall foliage as well. The shower and fridge in the common area were definitely a plus!

This Hipcamp was the perfect spot for us after our day of fly fishing on the Yakima River near Ellensburg. The property is an oasis set in a gorgeous backdrop of rolling hills, farms, and a view of the Cascades. We immediate felt at home being greeted by the friendly dogs. Tin Man is eclectic and comfortable. The facilities had everything we needed and the community space was accessible and complete. We definitely recommend this spot. Everything about our trip went smoothly. We'd love to come back.

I loved Bedford. The bed is comfortable and we stayed cozy and warm despite gusting winds. It is well placed for beautiful dusky sunset views. We had pleasant birdsong in the morning too. I loved the dogs Sun and Pluto and was endlessly charmed by their sweet cuddles during their camp visits. Having an indoor bathroom and kitchen was also a bonus. It's a great place and all the people were friendly and chill. I loved it!

Magnificent experience. Chris and Bruce are Incredibly kind and gracious. The clubhouse/common area is the big score. State of the art fridge, washer and dryer, and an amazing glass shower. 5 star all the way. Health and happiness are the priority here. And wait till you see the stars…

This was a cute place to crash after a show at The Gorge Amphitheater. The noise of the brook flowing into the pond next to Birdy was soothing. Clear communication and directions from the hosts was appreciated.

Birdy is in a serene, lovely oasis: quiet and
private in a beautiful setting.
However, for this 68 yr old it presented some challenges. The toilet is located too far away for folks who need more than one bathroom run during the night. The kitchen is also located in the same building.
It's a bit barebones, so if you like semi-roughing it, Birdy is perfect! No running water, electricity, and you need to bring your own linens and bedding. Inside Birdy is comfortably furnished with a comfortable bed, sofa and two easy chairs. Other on-site amenities are described on Hipc⛺mp's site.
All-in-all, Birdy is a perfect place for folks who can do with fewer amenities or conveniences.
I'd stay there again, but come better prepared

The land is beautiful and the hosts could not be any friendlier! The weather wasn't looking so great for our trip, but Chris came out and offered a dry place for us to stay. He was super proactive and responsive and I couldn't ask for anything more!

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was awesome! Wilson was very clean & the perfect size for a getaway! The bathroom was a game changer, super clean and so nice to come back to after a day of adventuring.
Property itself was insanely peaceful, and hosts were very quick to respond.
We will definitely be back!

Great spot with beautiful surroundings and very comfortable accommodations. Hosts were flexible with my late arrival time and early departure. If possible, you may want to try to arrive before dark or safely slow down on approach, as the driveway can be easy to miss in the dark, but otherwise super easy to access and the video guides they provide on booking are super helpful for getting the lay of the land. Would definitely return.

We lucked out with our first hipcamping trip! Luxor is a private, mini-oasis, with a serene pond-view, and a spectacular starry sky at night. We slept very well, lulled to sleep by the sound of the wind and frogs. Masajabe has a menagerie of loving pets; we’re animal people, and found them adorable. The amenities are clean and convenient, nearby but out of view when camping.
We appreciated being able to come back on the late side. Bruce and Chris were great hosts, available if needed. Cool place—hope to visit again!

Beautiful and thoughtfully executed campsite and space. Directions were clear, hosts were available but not overbearing at all.
The Birdy was super cute and perfect for a place for the family to stay after a night at the Gorge. The dogs were lovely and the other guests on the site looked happy too.
This is a great location for lots of Cascade excursions, definitely a gem. We'll be back for sure.

A cute place, safe and secluded. The campsite didn't work out, but luckily the host was willing to move us somewhere that was dry. The bathroom was clean and accessible.

Chris and Bruce were the best hosts! They created a true oasis in central Washington. We stayed in Birdy one night and Wilson another. Both were comfy and would fit the needs of a traveler seeking a place to rest their head.
Birdy the bus was truly unique, we probably opened and closed the bus doors about 20 times just because it was so fun to do so. Although it was over 90 degrees, the winds were lovely blowing through the school bus windows (which all go down). We were pleasantly surprised by how private the whole experience felt.
We were in town for a concert at the Gorge amphitheater and can highly recommend Chris and Bruce’s as a great base camp! We look forward to coming back again likely to view the stars and milky way in this low light pollution outdoor paradise. Thanks for having us! ❤️

Chris and Bruce were exceptional hosts and their property and our stay were fantastic. They were accommodating and kind, and Birdy was clean, fun, and provided us everything we needed for a great stay. The dogs were great company and I would come back in a heart beat.
