Past trip
in Choccolocco Creek Campground, AlabamaPrivate and quiet location
This host was so gracious and worked with me to move my reservation to the next night when I had camper repairs delay me a day. It was a short visit I left the next morning quite early. This is a good spot for getting away from it all. I liked the peace and quiet of this place. The woods around my site made me want to go exploring.
Past trip
in Petit Jean Farm Orchard, ArkansasI enjoyed my overnight stay at Petit Jean farm Orchard. Ed, the host, is so friendly and informative. There is a produce market on Saturdays - and lucky for me, some good things were still available on Sunday. The spot I had was between a ring of trees with branches high enough for my 9â7â class B. to pass under. Apple md pear trees were bearing little Fruits. The sheep brayed on as the background sound. Evening brought birdsong a d crickets droning I slept with doors open screens up. Like camping but more comfy. Morning brought the dawn chorus. Extra thanks for recommending a good mechanic!
Past trip
in Vanaprastha: an Off-Grid Experience, OklahomaI enjoyed my overnight stay at this little farmstead. Greeted by the host Tyrell, my online order of fresh eggs and ice was fulfilled. After a quick intro to the farm critters I had a conversation with Tyrell and friend Marcellus about their dreams for the homestead. A pig, rooster, geese, chickens, rabbits, turtles and other animals a kid would love provided entertainment. The morning breakfast was a delicious plate to go with grits and homefries and sausage links all cooked to perfection.
Tracy hasn't gone on any trips yet.

Stayed one evening here in this quiet farmstead up the hill a bit and worth the curves. Parked under a ring of healthy trees I enjoyed the embrace of nature. The sheep were steps away and the night chorus of crickets hummed along till dawn. Blissful sleep. Saturday is market day!
