Loved Tyrell’s Farm camp
We had a wonderful time! There was a pig and goat and chickens and ducks and we loved interacting with the animals. Tyrell was there for us every step of the way! He was an amazing host and teacher as we learned so much about his gardens and the animals!

Out of the way place to camp for the night, yet easy access from interstate. Super nice people. They’ll treat you well.

Cozy homestead
There were so many things to see at Tyrell’s farm. We enjoyed all the animals and the food was delicious! Make sure you bring bug spray! Tyrell was nice enough to lend me some and some lights cuz it gets dark at night. Just a fair warning, my campsite was next to the neighbor’s 5 dogs which will bark at you wherever you walk past. It also seems like the property was along one of the flight paths of a few planes. I’m a deep sleeper, so it didn’t bother me too much but there are your typical backyard camping noises.

Relaxing farm camping escape
Tyrell was a gracious host. He was very informative. For the interested person, he has a wealth of applied knowledge to share. He and Marcellus were so cool. It was a wonderfully close (to OKC) escape to a small working farm. If the wrappings of a small farm offend you, you may need a hotel. If you want a great camping experience, give Tyrell a call. Looking forward to the shin dig on 10/23. See you there.

Fun on the farm
I enjoyed my overnight stay at this little farmstead. Greeted by the host Tyrell, my online order of fresh eggs and ice was fulfilled. After a quick intro to the farm critters I had a conversation with Tyrell and friend Marcellus about their dreams for the homestead. A pig, rooster, geese, chickens, rabbits, turtles and other animals a kid would love provided entertainment. The morning breakfast was a delicious plate to go with grits and homefries and sausage links all cooked to perfection.
