in Hidden Valley, QueenslandBush getaway
Terry S.recommends this listing.
(Dispersed site)
In stark contrast to the packed out caravan park a short distance away at Baffle Creek, Hidden Valley offers solitude and space in abundance. A massive camping area is yours to choose your own camp site and adjacent bush trails provide opportunities for walking and exploring.
If a bush getaway, just minutes from the Baffle Creek boatramp, is what you are looking for, this is it.
Past trip
in Mary River Farmstay, QueenslandLazy river
Terry S.recommends this listing.
(Dispersed site)
Very picturesque, quiet property. Many campsites to choose from, all close to the river. The perfect spot for fishing or just relaxing.
Past trip
in CQ Mountain Flats, QueenslandVery spacious, private campsite at a reasonable price. A good spot to break a trip or to chill out for a couple of days. Short drive to Mt Morgan shops etc if needed.
Past trip
in Agnes Park Enviro Camp, QueenslandTerry S.recommends this listing.
(Dispersed site)
Some lovely secludud campsites amongst the trees. Unfortunately some of the best spots are under big old trees with dead branches which make for potentially hazardous camping. However we found a good spot free of overhanging branches. Very quiet .just the sound of the birds. Would recommend, providing you can find a suitable site.
Past trip
in Dam Crazy Camping, QueenslandDam crazy is dam fine!
Terry S.recommends this listing.
(Dispersed site)
A beautiful dam surrounded by mowed grassland and extensive bushland. The perfect spot to either unwind and do nothing or to stay active and make the most of the extensive walking trails or free kayaks that are available to campers. We loved the huge acerage which allowed for lots of space between each campsite. Also very dog friendly, even off leash in some areas. A lucky find which we will revisit on future trips.
Past trip
Top of the gully
in Arnolds Camp, QueenslandSteve and Donna were the perfect hosts, welcoming us to their property and offering us any assistance we required. Their picturesque cattle property offered many campsite options, all well spaced and bordered by bushland and walking trails. We were the only campers (shared with some placid doe-eyed Brahman cattle) but there is so much space additional numbers would barely have been visible.
Complete with unlimited free firewood, this is the ideal getaway, back to nature but just a short drive from Childers.

Hipcamp Hosts can leave an optional review of their Hipcampers after the trip is completed. This is where those reviews from Hipcamp Hosts will appear.
