Past trip
in Jim Moss Arena Campground, WyomingPeaceful ranch in wyoming
Jim and Paulette are the real deal! I was told Wyoming is where the cowboys are and it sure felt like it here. I grew up with horses and showing and rodeos in the East, this place brought back some great memories even though it’s not a working ranch right now. I felt so at home, it was peaceful and quiet. Paulette is an absolute sweetheart and it was hard to say goodbye after just a few days. I highly recommend staying here, they have several options too. Give them a call if you’re anywhere in the area looking for a place for a night or two or three or….
Past trip
in Ponderosa Pine Ranch camp, MontanaThis was a lovely place. I got in quite late and Patty was fine with that. They created a canopied area under cottonwoods and there was an open field too. The view of the mountains when I apple up was so pretty and the sound of the horses whinnying made me smile. Will definitely go back! The views along the drive were incredible.
Past trip
in Yogini J.’s Land, MinnesotaSacred horses & a spiritual yogini💫
For The Love of Sacred Horses was a magical experience. Yogini Joy is an amazing person, the most amazing person I’ve met. She’s sweet, peaceful, spiritual and brilliant. Not to mention funny. The Sacred Horses, they’re just that. And they come in the most beautiful colors (and personalities). Watching them interact with each other, and with Yogini is a beautiful experience. Letting them become comfortable with me over a few days - letting them come to me when they’re ready was an incredible experience. If you want to experience horses on a spiritual level, as well as understand how to connect on a spiritual level with nature, with yourself, with others with compassion, I highly recommend spending time with Yogini amd her Sacred Wild Horses. I consider myself a spiritual person and yet I’ve learned so much here. This is a special treasure I give the highest of recommendations to. I’m so grateful I found them! 💙💫🐴

Site 3 - Whitetail Sanctuary
in Whitetail Sanctuary, MichiganRelaxing and fun trip camping.
Cheryl and her husband Jim were the perfect hosts! Helpful in every way. The campsites are basically an extension of their front yard, with large pine trees providing privacy and shade. Jim is an excellent tour guide and showed me all the spots I should go for water time, mountain biking and even checking out their local ski hill! Mount Bohemia, with offices and even the ski patrol hut in yurts! They also had a steam room, hot tub and lap pool for summertime fun! Cheryl is the sweetest host, and if you’re lucky, they might take you beach combing for agates! Best day of my trip!
Cozy UP Sunset Cabin
in Bear Lake Meets da Yellow Dog, MichiganA peaceful stay in the woods.
Bear Lake Sunset Cabin is a sweet little repute and just what I needed. A single room cabin in the middle of the woods. Susan is an amazing host. I could spend weeks here, soaking up Mother Nature and touring the area that has so much to offer! Beaches, kayaking, biking, hiking.
Site 4 Delightful
in Llama Meadows Eco Farm BaseCamp, MichiganPeaceful stay at llovely
Betty was an amazing host.
Llovely was a perfect place for me to start a restorative and healing journey and my first hipcamp. Wondering if hipcamp sites are this easy or if she spoiled me.
Peaceful, beautiful and soulful. Rolling fields of flowers, a sweet fun pup named Jazzy, easy camping with amenities of an outhouse and pump sink. Flowers on your picnic table and a large container of fresh well water!
Betty and Marty were there to help with anything from tent setup to freezing ice packs and a joy to chat with.
Site #4 was a bit further back and more private even tho a bit longer walk to the outhouse.
She has solar lights throughout that sparkle under an expansive sky.
Their organic gardens are beautiful to say the least and I got a bunch of beans for the road!
Next time I want to try the treehouse!
Thank you Betty and Marty for such a peaceful start to my grand adventure. 🙏🦋💙
