Site 1 - RV Sites at Chattooga Belle Farm

in CedarRose Farm, MontanaLoved our stay! Our site was under the shade of trees in a field near the hosts' greenhouse, home and workroom. Chairs, a bench and a propane campfire under the trees made a lovely spot to enjoy coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evenings. The site was private and very quiet. The hosts were delightfulâsuper responsive, helpful & friendly while still affording us our privacy. Morgan led us to our site, and then dropped by later with fresh veggies from her garden, as well as the fresh eggs and honey that we purchased. We took advantage of the opportunity to kayak down the nearby river, which was lovelyâMorgan shuttled us with our kayak. The farm itself is about 15 miles from hwy 90 on a 2-lane winding road that leads you back into a large valley. The last 1/4 mile to the farm is gravel, and the path to the site is a bit rutted and bumpy, but we made it fine in our 32' MH. Railroad tracks run near the property, and freight trains run fairly regularly, but we found the this to be both exciting and nostalgic, rather than bothersome. Would definitely recommend!
Past trip
in Glacier Acres Guest Ranch, MontanaGreat views and great location!
This site was great for exploring Glacier NP, Whitefish and Columbia Falls! It was an easy in and out, with lovely spacious views. Mitch was helpful, and super responsive. He mentioned in his description that the sites are not level and that there is highway noiseâtrue on both counts. We entered from the right sideâheading into our site, it sloped slightly downward. We have a 32' motorhome. It took a little bit of work, and leveling blocks, to get level enough to put our slides out, but we did manage. The highway is a bit noisy. We were out and about both days so daytime wasn't a problem; I'm a sound sleeper and wasn't bothered by the noise, but my husband had a bit harder time. Great views; great price; great proximity!
Past trip
in The Getaway, WashingtonLovely spot near se mt ranier
This was a wonderful spot! It's about a 25 min drive from the SE Stevens entrance to Mt Ranier NP. Gloria was very helpful & responsive. The site is very spacious, with a picnic table, fire pit, firewood and chairs. You are in a part of the host's yard, and along a neighborhood street, but we positioned our rig to create privacy. We had no problems leveling (we're in a 32' motorhome and pulling a car). Both my husband & I were able to use our phones as hotspots, and no problem with cell or internet connection. We'd definitely stay here again :)
Past trip
in Wilderness Path, WashingtonLovely spot near sw mt ranier!
We loved this camping spot! First, it's 5 mins from the Nisqually entrance to Mt Ranier NP. Second, Crystal was super responsive (and even left flowers on the picnic table!). Third, the site is wonderful! It's spacious & fairly private, with a picnic table, fire ring & trash can. You're next to the road leading in to Mt Ranier NP, but traffic was not that heavy & died down in the evening, so it never bothered us. There are water & 30amp hookups. There are 3 options for placing your rig, but if you want hookups you'll need to pull into the far left "lane," which is a bit narrow, but doable. If you don't need hookups, the first & middle "lanes" are wider. We're in a 32' motorhome towing a car. The right turn pulling in off of the highway is tight so we had to unhook first; pulling out was no problem. We would have loved to stay longer and would definitely try to stay there again if in the area.
Past trip
in Crater Lake Private Woodlands, OregonOn the way to the turtle pond...
We needed to add a 3rd night to our stay, which wasn't available at the Meadow site, so moved to the Turtle Pond site on the same property. We did however pass by this site- it's a lovely, open, sunny meadow area surrounded by trees on 3 sides. It's not large but we have a 32' motorhome and would have fit here. You could easily walk down to and around the Turtle Pond. Daniel & Barbara are excellent hosts.
Past trip
in Crater Lake Private Woodlands, OregonA lovely, tranquil respite...
Our stay at Turtle Pond was delightful. Itâs a very secluded, tranquil, beautiful setting in the woods. Two Adirondack chairs and a little log table provide a perfect spot to sit and relax looking out from the woods down to the pond; you can dine or play games at the picnic table; and 2 hammocks provide a great place to nap. We found our way around the entire pond-at times youâll think the trail has ended but itâs just little-used so keep going-itâs a lovely walk. Crater Lake is about 40 mins away; Iâd suggest stopping at the Rogue River viewing site off the 62 and walking the short path along it; there are also a number of waterfalls in the area that you can drive to and hike. Our hosts, Daniel & Barbara, were friendly, helpful and super responsive. Do make sure you have handy their instructions for navigating their property-turning around is tricky on the narrow roads (we speak from experience:)). We stayed at Turtle Pond in a 32â motorhome. The road in is narrow and bumpy, but we just took it slow and were fine.

Rori hasn't gone on any trips yet.
