We found this gem of a place several years ago & it has become our favourite mini getaway. So relaxing, quiet & a place to get back in touch with nature. The sites are huge & well spaced, each positioned out of view of the others. Dawn & Mick are the perfect hosts & just the nicest people youâre likely to meet. They have created something very special here. Canât wait to get back again soon.

Too long since we last stayed at this beautiful spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Creek Junction. Itâs probably their flattest site so it was perfect for the friends we had join us. Really easy to set up our 2 vans. Plenty of bed life & heaps of Kangaroo in the surrounding paddocks. Nice walks/bike rides around the farm & into the adjacent state forest. A relaxing escape.

(Dispersed site)
A lovely relaxing retreat only minutes from Denmark. Plenty of space to spread out. Surprisingly green during our summer stay. Enjoyed watching the sheep wander past the van occasionally. Very friendly, helpful hosts , prompt communication. We look forward to returning & introducing fellow caravaners to this lovely property. Thanks Bruce & family.

Past trip
in Amber Ridge Estate, Western AustraliaRob S.recommends this listing.
Lovely shady elevated site with views down the valley. As the site name suggests, it is a Hillâ so some minor leveling of the van was necessary but well worth it. Also be wary of some of overhanging branches as there was evidence of some fallen ones. We had a clear starry evening sky followed by a stunning misty morning before sunrise. An emu family casually wandered past a few times too. Very quiet & peaceful although some people may not be as tolerant of the early morning bird chorus as we are. (We loved it!). We took our mountain bikes & enjoyed an easy ride through the adjoining state forest to join a short section of the nearby Mundabiddi. Dawn loaned us a handy info file on some of the local attractions. There is so much more to do in the area than we realised. Dawn & Michael were the perfect hosts & we look forward to returning soon.

Past trip
in Amber Ridge Estate, Western AustraliaAhhhh... a relaxing nature escape.

Shhhh... donât tell anyone but this place is a gem! We want to keep it for ourselves (& just a few deserving people like yourselves...).
A relaxing escape back to nature. A working farm but with plenty of stands of trees around for shade (Dam View site a bit exposed though) & surrounded by State forest with easy access to the Munda Biddi bike track & easy walks all around. Weâre glad we took our bikes.
It is so so quiet too. The sky is dark & the stars are amazing. A healthy abundance of bird life, frogs & kangaroos. So many Carnaby Cockatoos.
Only 12 mins from Donnybrook & 10 mins from the stunning wines of Oakway Estate (they have beer & pizza too apparently).
The hosts (young couple Dawn & Michael) are welcoming, helpful & responsive to all correspondence. Although be warned there is very limited phone coverage (BONUS!).
Weâll be back for sure - thanks.

Flowery Twats

Thanks for the amazingly relaxing escape. Despite summers heat & browned off grasses, this is such a calming place to stay. Weâll definitely return in cooler weather to see it at its best. Thereâs a fair slope on the site we had but a spade levelled the van OK. Worth it for sure.
Rob hasn't gone on any trips yet.

Site 6
in Blackwood River Estate, Western AustraliaA relaxing stopover.
Just a quick stopover on a very hot day unfortunately. We set up up the hill (near site 4) with a lovely view & a cooling breeze which improved things considerably. There are plenty of treed areas for shade & rocks for clambering over. Ended up cool overnight & even used the doona!
Deon was really quick to reply to messages with helpful information. It was a pleasure to meet him & his son the following morning - really nice folk.
A couple of things to note: the property entrance is a bit hidden (not necessary a bad thing) so check your odometer when following Deonâs accurate instructions. Also, the paddocks were very dry & the grass surprisingly long when we visited, so we were slightly concerned of fire risk & critters too of course. Please be very careful. We did mention this to Deon.
We look forward to staying again sometime. Keen to have a cooling dip in the river just south of the property next time. Looked very inviting.
Redgum Hill
in Amber Ridge Estate, Western AustraliaAnother relaxing stay. Enjoyed the fire pit & abundant bird life (including an Emu family!). Feels like our second home now. Thanks Dawn, Michael & little âLâ
