A lovely place to stay if youâre in the Margaret River area. Large grassy sites, lots to look at and a very friendly host. Only about 5 minutes to Margaret River. Worth a stay!

We loved our time staying at Bryonyâs place. Heaps of room, some nice trees, green grass, a fire pit and friendly hosts / excellent!
Past trip
in Silver Creek Escape, VictoriaWhat a lovely little surprise!
We hadn't been to the area and loved it, and then Clara and Caleb's block was just perfect for our 2 night stay. Clara was very helpful; we were also very impressed with the composting loo.
Highly recommended!

Past trip
Stringy Bark Camp
in Stringy Bark Camp, VictoriaTents yes, caravans - maybe notâŚ
Peter G.has mixed feelings towards this listing.
Friendly service by Aly, but I couldnât really recommend Stringybark for caravaners like ourselves. Even though they have 2 acres, there arenât any easy level spots for a caravan. Great spot for tents though!
Past trip
in Grandview Sanctuary, VictoriaBeautiful place and great hosts!

Kirstie and Paulâs place is simply beautiful! Even after all the rain it was gorgeous. They wisely decided to put us close to the road, but having done that, we had a fab view across the valley. Perfectly sited to easily walk into town. Highly recommended.

in Morilla Road, New South WalesGreat stay with wonderful hosts!

Wow, what a great place! Brigitte and Sidâs beautiful farm was a great place to spend a night in our van. We were the only ones there (other than some inquisitive cows) and it was quite beautiful. Even in the rain (not too much but enough to stop us having a campfire) it was an extremely enjoyable experience.
Sid was a fantastic host, happy to chat and even brought us some of their beautiful produce. And he (or Brigitte?) are also excellent barristas; Sid brought us our morning coffees this morning and they were great!
Highly recommended; we sure intend to go back, for longer next time.

Past trip
in Grampians Old Man Emu Stay, VictoriaGreat spot!
Peter G.recommends this listing.
(Dispersed site)
We had a great time at Old Man Emu. John and Greta are great hosts; John even drive around handing out post-Easter chocolates. Huge sites, fire pits, great views, close to Halls Gap; whatâs not to like!

Past trip
in Little River Camp, VictoriaSerenity plus views!
Peter G.recommends this listing.

Parvez has a beautiful setting for a quiet stay. Only the sheep and the odd calf to worry about. The view of the northern end of the You Yangâs (just beyond the fence) is wonderful.
You need to bring everything but who cares!

Fire Pit
in Beyond Our Gate, Western AustraliaGreat fire pit campsite
The Fire Pit campsite is a gorgeous spot just outside of Perth. We were delighted to be Linh and Tonyâs first interstate guests. The actual fire pit is majestic and something to behold. Our hosts generously had it set up for us with wood provided. We loved the little table and chairs and the outside string of lights. We also bought freshly laid eggs from them. It all felt so welcoming - and Tony and Linh certainly were. Coming out to meet us and chatting and we even met their neighbour who came over for a chat. Our van is 17 foot and I would be cautious to take a caravan any bigger than that at this stage but otherwise we highly recommend this Hipcamp with its friendly, warm and welcoming hosts and convenient lovely campsite. Thanks Tony and Linh. We would have actually loved to have stayed longer if we didnât have other commitments. Good luck and we hope it goes well. Peter and Cait
