Wild Yough Glamping Huts
in Wild Yough Glamping Huts, MarylandBeautiful and peaceful glamping
These huts had everything you need for a successful camping experience. All you need to bring is food and a set of bed sheets! The land is beautiful and there are multiple state parks within a 10 min drive. The bathrooms were really nice too! There were about 4 other huts nearby but they are far enough apart in the woods where we felt privacy the whole time.
Vehicle & Tent Camping
in The Heron Farm & Event Center, New YorkThe Heron is a beautiful farm. When we arrived, Julie greeted us right away and gave a little tour of different campsite options for us to choose from. Everyone on site was very friendly. And the Amish neighbors were friendly too!
The owners hosts music festivals at their camp site and there were plenty of bathroom facilities, sinks, showers, wood and ice. There is also a kitchen on site.
The stars are really amazing on a clear night and the views of the farmland are beautiful. There are forest and trails you can walk through as well. Overall, I would recommend this camp ground to anyone, and we might come back for a music fest next year! You will feel safe and comfortable, so this is a great spot if you are newer to camping or not a frequent camper.
