This is a return visit for us - I'd say we are regulars now. We sure love this nature retreat and Davinia is a most gracious host. It's a favorite spot of ours with so much privacy, and the wildlife always puts on a show. Thank you for having us again, 'til next time! <3

This was another return trip for us, we love it here! Our sightings were many birds, including hooting barred owls, fish, turtles, lizards, raccoons, deer, and a special visit from a bobcat. Haven't heard a call from a bobcat before, so cool! It might been onto us about our chicken on the grill... Many thanks to the gracious hosts for having us!

This was our second time here - au naturel, primitive, spacious, away from the city is just the best camping and put us in sync with mother nature. Davinia and her family are great to communicate with and very welcoming. We will surely be back, thank you very much!

We just had a most wonderful holiday weekend! My husband and I grew up in TX and are very experienced outdoor enthusiasts - this is a gem spot on the Guadalupe River, especially if you are into primitive camping which is exactly our style. This is nature at its best with great wildlife viewing, and the beautiful Guadalupe to swim and relax by. There was barely any road noise or other campers compared to being at a TX state or county park, we were stunned by the natural state and seclusion of the place. The campsite is well thought out and cared for - the hosts were very kind and communicative. How generous of them to let campers access this amazing land to connect with nature! Thank you so much, we will be back for sure.
