"Unplugged". Cabin in the woods!
in Unplugged, No electricity, no wifi., New HampshireThe beautiful andover cabin
The thing i love about new hampshire is the ever changing scenery and atmosphere. The andover unplugged cabin can withstand anything new england can throw at it.
When you arrive at Lorraineâs (the host) house she will welcome you with a warm smile and a kind voice. When we first met her she had homemade muffins and jam in hand. The cabin is located in a valley below the house. In the spring summer and fall months itâs accessible with any vehicle. It is a steep descent so in the winter if you donât have some form of awd/4wheeldrive youâre better off walking down over getting stuck.
Once we arrived at the cabin, which was situated on a nice flat area, our host gave us a tour and showed us all the amenities she provided. The space is dog friendly as long as theyâre left on the leash. Our pup koda was so excited and enjoyed the surrounding area. Thereâs a compostable out house steps from the cabin as well as a picnic table and a fire pit. If you want a shower our host provided her own personal shower back up at the house.
I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to enjoy the epitome of what new hampshire has to offer while not having to drive too far off the beaten path. While we were only there for one night, it was long enough to realize how special a place and space this really was.
Casita de Sol y Luna
in casita de sol y luna, VermontAdirondack Tiny Camp
in Adirondack Rustic Retreat, New Yorki went for a quick getaway with my wife and our australian shepherd puppy. we loved our stay on the edge of the adirondack state park. The site is truly aesthetically pleasing. You have a private pond all to yourself along with a wonderful firepit. The owners provide wood along with fire starter supplies. There are Canoes and kayaks if you so desire to go out on the pond. prepare to carry your gear from the road to the actual cabin. The cabin has no electricity, a true tiny camp experience! Itâs heated but a small wood stove which easily heats the whole space. You can choose from a cot on the ground level or sleeping in wonderful loft above. i would reccomend this site to any tiny camp or cabin lover alike, not to mention the location is stunning.
