in Mount Lindstrom on Brady, OklahomaGreat base camp for exploring tulsa
Tulsa is such a wonderful city to visit! And if youâre camping, thereâs no better place to stay than a Hipcamp like Mount Lindstrom. This property is so fun and peaceful, plus super close to everything Tulsa has to offer. Christen was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The site was easy to access, level, and hook-ups worked as designed. The kids loved the saucer tree swing, exploring near the creek, and catching fire flies at night. Plus for me, sitting next to the pond in the morning with coffee was a great way to start the day. If youâre looking for a quiet, comfortable spot in Tulsa, I highly recommend Mount Lindstrom.

in Linville Adventure Pasture (LAP), North CarolinaPrivate camp close to pisgah
Our family of four (kids age 5 and 7) plus dog had a great stay. The kids kept busy all day exploring, setting traps to catch big foot, and swinging on the tire swing, the dog wore herself out running, and we enjoyed relaxing by the fire not having to worry about a thing. There was plenty of privacy and the camp hosts knew how to do their jobs- kind, helpful, and available if needed but invisible if we didnât. It was our first trip out in our Land Cruiser and Christian and Pamâs land was a great place to get its tires muddy for the first time. Also our first time visiting the area, and LAP proved to be a great base camp for exploring Pisgah National Forest. Close to beautiful old NC highway 105 (thanks for the tip from the hosts!) which was a rough road, but we saw plenty of non off road capable cars making the drive, so highly recommend for stunning views and lots of trail heads!

in Trickle Creek Ranch, TexasQuiet, clean, unique, great host
Our first experience using Hipcamp landed us at Trickle Creek Ranch. We were drawn to Trickle Creek because my 4 year old son LOVES cows and farms. My daughter was weary because she hates the smell, but we were pleasantly surprised that there was no odor of cow pies. Gary was a great host and helped us into our site upon arrival, showed my kids how to feed the cows, then let us make ourselves at home. There was a large bonfire pit onsite that he encouraged us to use and it did not disappoint! Very quiet, respectful, well kept place to stay with plenty of amenities close by.
Jenny hasn't gone on any trips yet.
Hipcamp Hosts can leave an optional review of their Hipcampers after the trip is completed. This is where those reviews from Hipcamp Hosts will appear.
