1960's VW Bus
in PHANTOM CANYON HIDEOUT, ColoradoCamping here was so much fun! The hosts were amazing, so welcoming and kind to my kids. The bus and it's deck were super comfortable. I'm thrilled we found this, we will be back, many times
Past trip
in Serendipity Slope, ColoradoThis is my 3rd trip. I love the seclusion, aspen, views and easy access from Colorado Springs.
Past trip
in Serendipity Slope, ColoradoBeautiful spot! Great views, totally private, with a few flat spots for tents and trees nicely spaced for hammocks. I also really appreciated the fire pit, propane grill, tables and chairs. It made camping super easy.
Past trip
Folly Farm #3 (4 twin beds)
in Folly Farm, ColoradoBeautiful site! Marcin knew we were bringing our 3 year old kid so he left a board book in the tent just for him! So thoughtful. The basket of produce was also greatly appreciated. Really great operation, beautiful tents and platforms. I'd definitely come back.
The bathroom is a 9 minute walk, easier to drive there in 2 minutes.
Past trip
in Twisted Sisters Farm, ColoradoGreat spot! We stayed at site 3, which is perfect for car camping. There was 1 small level spot for a tent and a few sturdy trees for hammocks and for privacy. This site is also on a hillside which has great view of the surrounding countryside and mountains.
Site 1 and 2 are good for RV's / campers but I would not recommend them for car campers as they are too exposed. Especially site 1, which is simply a fire ring in a field with no nearby trees.
The sites are first come, first served, so if you want site 3 better get there promptly!
We could hear road noise from HWY 24 throughout the night and the town of Florissant and other houses are clearly visible. This didn't bother us at all, but it's good to know what to expect

Hunter hasn't gone on any trips yet.
Hipcamp Hosts can leave an optional review of their Hipcampers after the trip is completed. This is where those reviews from Hipcamp Hosts will appear.

Sweet Ass Meadow @ Serendipty Slope
in Serendipity Slope, ColoradoWe loved the site and would absolutely come back. The host was very helpful and responsive to my questions. The site had a few unexpected and appreciated amenities, like a propane grill, a long lead for a dog and a nice little table with chairs. All of this made our visit really great.
It's worth noting that charges will multiply if you plan to have more than 2 guests and 1 car. Our trip for 5 people with 2 cars ended up being more than 3x the advertised rate of $33 a night!! I did not see anything about these additional fees before booking, but this was my first time using hipcamp. Be warned.
Aside from the seemingly hidden fees, I would definitely return.
