This sweet little spot to camp right by the river is perfection. The string of Edison bulbs on the covered bridge provided no shortage of romantic ambience and solar powered fairy lights in the mason jars tied to the trees surrounding the campsite illuminated the area where we would camp for the night, equipped with a large picnic table, bench, a completely flat level area to set up our tent, a trash bin with liners, and even a water spigot rigged up chest high. Nothing quite like a refreshing bird bath with well water warmed by the sun on a scorching hot day. There was a large tank of propane Marcus kindly lent us which he already had hooked up to the fire ring. Weâve never seen anything like it and enjoyed how easy it was to operate. The campsite is very secluded, clean, quiet, completely private, and only a few minutes from I-5. One of the best parts was meeting Marcus the next morning after walking the short trail winding through his many acres. Heâs got some of the best stories and showed us the exterior and interior of the house he built, and inventive creative projects on his land like the ultimate zip lining playhouse he woodworked for his kids, the garden, etc. He offered us to camp at the site for several more nights which we would have gladly taken up had we not made reservations elsewhere. Canât wait to return here if weâre in the area again.

We enjoyed everything about camping here and it far exceeded our expectations. We opted to purchase some of the add-ons and so glad we did. When we checked in, there was a warm pie waiting for us. The farm shop is partly outdoors and while busy, everyone was wearing masks and respectfully social distancing. There's a tiny shack outdoors that sells hot coffee and some of the best pumpkin donuts we've ever had. The next morning we purchased more pie, raw apple cider, and some other items made on the farm. Everything was quality and delicious. We were invited to drive around the orchard until we found a spot that was just right for us to set up camp. On a cold autumn weekend, we were lucky to have the entire orchard to ourselves. It was absolutely quiet and peaceful and the host respected our privacy. Great communication with the host and glad we were able to rest here for the night in between two long days of driving.
Cheers,
Elise and Adam
