This is my second time visiting Wild Tender Ranch and its been 3 years since I've last been. I didn't think it could get any better, but there have been so many incredible additions to this group site, that it is truly one of the most memorable glamping trips I have ever taken. After 3 months of hunkering down through a very unruly and uncertain time, this was a true gift of respite - through the beauty of nature, thoughtful details, and warm hospitality. We honestly felt like we were in our own universe. We stayed in the new massive geodesic dome tent, that had breathtaking views and an absolute soothing serenity. A king size bed floats in the middle of the dome, with many comfortable mattresses and tatami mats available for all the kids. Having the amenities of a nearby hot shower, nice bathroom, and full kitchen made the stay extra comfortable. We were blessed with fantastic weather, and the vistas extend far to the ocean in every direction, making for an amazing backdrop. Frequent visits by the friendly property dogs delighted the kids, who also enjoyed the towering swing set, and experimenting with campfire cooking. Our friends rented the nearby smaller dome, and another couple friend, rented the fabulous Teepee. The hosts were quick to respond to all of our requests, and have clearly put a lot of loving energy into this amazing Ranch and Rescue. Our gathering of families was very special and we loved every minute. We look forward to making this an annual trip.

This was a perfect one night getaway for myself and my two kids. We settled into the cute cabin, and promptly went on a tour of the farm with Kim, the host. The grounds are lovely, with views of the surrounding mountains, and beautiful rose bushes and wisteria scattered through the property. Chickens, goats, baby sheep, bunnies, and more!

Kim was extremely welcoming and accommodating, and was very kind to the kids. We got a little taste of what it takes to tend to so many animals, and enjoyed it thoroughly. There's also a trampoline and play structure onsite, for when the kids (and adults) tire of petting all the animals, and lemonade and fruit stocked in the fridge for when you need a refreshement. There is no kitchen in the cabin, but a firepit outside, which is perfect for roasting hot dogs and smores - all the more fun.

In the morning, we were gently woken by the roosters and excited to start another day! We had a lovely breakfast of pancakes and farm-fresh eggs, another round of catching chickens and petting goats, and bid our farewell to Kim, and the adorable Flying Pig B&B!

Highly recommend this place for families with young kids!! They will have a blast and you will, too!
