We had an awesome time at No Place Like Dome. It's beautiful, tranquil and has amazing views. We'd recommend bringing your duvet as it gets pretty cold at night.

Very nice! Instructions are very clear. Beautiful sunset and nice to hear the sounds of the horses in the morning. Great place to stop, sleep, and eat. Picnic tables were perfect.

Beautiful and unique camping experience. Easy communication with Montrese and a wonderful experience all around. Would definitely come back! A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Our host provided really specific and helpful directions with pictures. When we arrived the dome was really clean and welcoming with fresh flowers. The bathrooms were also really clean and a hot shower in the morning was a real treat. If you’re planning your stay here opt for the fire pit and indoor heaters.

This is a wonderful place to camp by the ocean. I had a hard time finding a decent place to camp near the Bay Area, but this place is a hidden gem. It’s peaceful and quiet. It’s a great place to be one with God’s creation. I will come again. Thanks so much for great hosting, Monterese!

Such a beautiful experience! Laying in the dome and looking outside to see wild horses was such a treat. Really felt secluded and far away from the city. I’m sad they’re closing down because I would have booked again immediately after my trip ended!

My husband and I just returned from our stay at the Cosmic Egg Dome, and feel immensely refreshed. My heart breaks to know that this establishment is closing (because I'd stay here again in a heartbeat), but I wish Montrese and company all the best in Oregon!!!
Everything about the positioning of the geodome, to the picnic table and fire pit were well thought out. We especially loved seeing the peaceful horses pass by. Thank you for sharing this zen experience with others!

The yurt, kitchen, wind protected area were all as described, only better. The view of the ocean is indescribable, the quiet, and expanse restorative. We bought the full monty for a 3 night stay and had more than enough fuel for heat, light, and cooking. We found the mattresses in the yurt extremely comfortable. It was perfect to quench our thirst for something rustic without having to do much work for it. We loved exploring Santa Cruz, kayaking Elk Horn Slough, and watching the elephant seals at Ano Nuevo all within an easy drive. The thoughtful touches such as dishes and pots made it easier to whip together a tasty meal after a ling day of exploring. We’d like to second the importance of taking seriously the risk of Lyme any time you are in nature (even the beaches) of North California, as the risk is real though rare, and very easily prevented with some insect repellent. We are only a family of four but would definitely recommend the large yurt especially if you have a larger group as it would present a high value for an uncompromising experience.

This was our second trip to the BIG OM OCEAN RETREAT and it was just as special as we remembered it. Gorgeous nature, comfy dome for a giant sleep over and super responsive hosts. I love this place and would gladly stay again!!

Great place to stay on the way down to Big Sur area. Easy 2.5 miles on a dirt road. Class C 25’ motorhome had no problems. Beautiful view of the Ocean.

I am already missing the Big OM retreat. It was everything I hoped for and more. The ranch is beautiful and my dog and I enjoyed walking around the property and exploring. Shower was HOT and bed was comfy! Thank you! Will be coming back :)

This was my second time at #1 Park N Surf Oceanview - I was there last year. Once again, the site didn't disappoint. This place is pure zen and I would certainly look for an opportunity to return at some point.

We had a great time here. The dome is beautiful and private. On clear days, you get wonderful views of ocean. Would recommend this to take time off and be with your loved one!

A quiet and peaceful escape. The dome was wonderful, and we had everything we wanted. Horses passed through our camp and were much fun to watch. Highly recommended.
